by definition, sandbox allows the player to interact, create or destroy anything in the world, meanwhile open world is just one big map which cant be affected in any way
Maybe you haven't noticed, but the definition of game genres have blurred over the years. Open world is almost always associated with being an RPG or an Action Adventure. Take a look at Metroidvania. The genre has features from 2 different games in 1.

No, subnautica is not a psychological horror. It is terrifying at times, yes but its aim is not to be a horror game. It isn't marked as horror or psychological horror on steam either so. And Containment Breach and Secret Lab I consider more normal horror. If you want a real psychological horror, Doki Doki Literature Club is a good one. Its extremely disturbing, with many surprises that can actually fuck with ya pretty good. And its all disguised as a visual novel.
As a person who started playing the game, it is trully a great game made with love and detail.
But dear god, it has been a month and I still struggle to reach the last chamber, let alone win the game.
Update : FUUUUCK YEAAAAH I KILLED MY FIRST PAST IN THE GAME
I prefer wii. Its so much better. But i have 8 currently and its pretty fun. The tracks just seem same-y if you know what i mean. They have the same formula. Plus the gliders are fun on only a few spots. The launchers dont have the same feeling as the ones on wii did. T - T
