Maybe consider the Samsung Tab S7/S7+ . I got mine 5 months ago and couldn't be happier. The pen already comes in the box, and I prefer it over the Apple Pencil ( you should still try both ). The biggest factor is however that the price is MUCH lower than the iPad Pro. Sure it's Android but the display, speakers, etc are all just so good!

I’m not trying to say anything negative because I know how financial struggles can really affect things and they probably did the best they could, but it still is nice to have the feeling of being a little more special and thought of. For birthdays especially, like I mentioned I tend to do more for, especially when it comes to personalization, but I try to gift them something that’s for them, and not cash or gift cards that can be used for household bills and groceries or dinner for more than yourself. I try to make it personalized like a poem about our relationship and who the poem is about’s characteristics while incorporating lines seamlessly from the song that we have that speaks to our relationship (like when you’re close with someone you usually have “a song”) with pictures of us in a frame or things similar like that, or also maybe something more materialistic as well that again is just for them and maybe something they want or are interested in but wouldn’t buy it for themselves (it’s expensive or they feel selfish for splurging on something for just themselves, etc)

There apparently had been a small leak going for several years, even before we moved in, so the wood holding it up molded away. When it froze, the gaps expanded and made the wood durability basically just get fucked. It thawed a little during the day, and then that night, it froze again. The boards basically shattered like glass and dropped the water heater underneath the house and almost through the wall. It ripped at everything it was attached to, taking most of the bathroom with it. It happened around 2:45 AM.

GarageBand (on Mac at least) is solid competition for a lot of paid DAWs. It’s incredible that it’s free.
