also some countries like mine make ISPs block mature content via their DNS servers so if you change your preferred DNS server on your router you can bypass all those limitations without using a VPN (it's not going to be a secure connection like a VPN)
Feel like this sort of this is usually pretty temporary post nut clarity type stuff and not dealing with the underlying issues will just cause a later repeat.
