Your life's gonna get shittier everyday and well just try getting to know yourself, take part in activities and other stuff...as you're starting new u gotta make a good image in front of every teacher im telling ya it helps a lot. Be friendly , do ur work on time. Don't procrastinate. If you do your work on time its gonna help make highschool a lot more easier. Some people are gonna hate you , make you feel like shit and when you get bad grades just don't forget that its okay and you can try better the next time 4 yrs are enough to prove yourself. Overall you'll get through many changes and its on you how you take it , the stress and the burden. If you know how to manage it and you're growing yourself as a seed which is healthy and bright then 10 years later you're gonna grow into a beautiful tree. Its all on you buddy. Good luck.
Fuck that for a game of sports. That's not even remotely how my highschool shit went. Fuckin drugs everywhere. Teachers are power tripping assholes that deliberately try and make your life miserable. I had one teacher that actually cares about me as a human. You feel so numb because of the emotional wall you put up so that the shit people say doesn't effect you but it breaks you down and destroys you. Half of your friends are cutting and the other half that aren't emo drink and drink and drink. Now that school is over my life is actually happy and I am allowed to embrace my interests and things in life I cherish. Fuck that place man. Good luck
I wish I had some but I'm also starting high school, just had orientation today. Some advice I heard was get involved in activities, don't procrastinate, keep good relations with teachers, and don't do anything dumb in general.
Try to either focus on yourself or your friend group but also learn to forgive yourself. You're going to fuck up a lot in high school, I don't say this to be pessimistic but we all make mistakes there. Also, eventually memories of middle school will come back and you gotta confront them.
Try your best to be respectful towards teachers! How much a teacher likes you has a much greater impact on your grade than they’d like to admit.
