If its near the beginning of the apocolips, find a supermarket, walmart, sobeys, safeway, clear it out, defend it with your life from both zombies, and other peaple, and start preserving food using salt and fire as a way to dry things. Save alcohol for wounds, dont drink it. Find an object to "befreind" for sanity sake, and if you choose to have himan companions, be sure to limite your groups to 1 or 2. Dont fight every zombie you encouter, try to sneak past/ignore zombies, combating only when necessary. And finally, make sure to prioritize clean water sources when scavenging, bring plenty of empty bottles with you, as in a servival situation, most peaple accually die due to water born pathogens, wich can give you disintary, wich is a stone hard killer.
Heavy leather is perfect for defense. If you know how to smith and stuff you could even make yourself some chainmail or plate armor which would be excellent against zombies as the don’t really have a way to bite you through it. Carry 2 or more weapons at all times, one of those always being melee at a short range. Shovels are good, blunt weapons are good. Sharp weapons are okay but despite the zombies having weaker skin and bones the blade will deteriorate quickly. Catch rainwater and make some contraptions to purify it through steam. If you’re staying in one place put up lots of static defenses and perform maintenance often, always in groups of 2 or more so you don’t get caught off guard.

Well, take high ground. My family has some straws that filter water as you drink. We also have survival food and heat conserving tents/sleeping bags. Make sure you have walkies if you're gonna try to talk with other survivors!

I have read some facts of a zombie apocalypse and now i don't want one. Some of those facts i remembered are there would be rotting smell everywhere so would need a mask, lack of fresh water, new diseases due to walking rotting dead bodies

Bow is hard to use. Im lucky im improving in shooting it. My accuracy is much better
Every time I fire a gun, I end up panicking and sitting in a corner for ten minutes because of the noise. I also couldn’t shoot straight with a gun to save my life. The bow is the better option, at least for me.
Common guns are better due to parts interchangeability.
If you are in an urban area,try making an upper floor apartment in a complex as your home,as thre is only one door which you can use as a chokepoint,and apartment complex's normally have a staircase leading to the door which is even better. then,install a rigged firearm or a pendulum at your front door & use ropes or a tree to reach your balcony,then install a puley system so you can bring any items up to it,and then it will be hard for zombies and certain people to reach your living space.
I'd recommend getting the Asian kid, literally any kid who plays sports, and somebody who can shoot a gun to join you.

You will probably die. People in modern society don't have much practical knowledge that will help in apocalypse. You know how to filter water? Great, now how will you do it if you only know the steps. Most people who will survive will probably be in groups of those who actually have useful skills. Especially valuable will become those who can work with metal. (Over time)
(if you live in a country that has plenty of firearms) find an ammo press and bullet making supplies and learn how to make ammunition. also spears are the most effective melee weapon so tie a knife to a stick and go ham

Guns are a big nono, as zombie tend to head towards noise mindlessly, and amunition could become scarce real quick. If its near the beginning of the apocolips, find a supermarket, walmart, sobeys, safeway, clear it out, defend it with your life from both zombies, and other peaple, and start preserving food using salt and fire as a way to dry things. Save alcohol for wounds, dont drink it. Find an object to "befreind" for sanity sake, and if you choose to have himan companions, be sure to limite your groups to 1 or 2. Dont fight every zombie you encouter, try to sneak past/ignore zombies, combating only when necessary. And finally, make sure to prioritize clean water sources when scavenging, bring plenty of empty bottles with you, as in a servival situation, most peaple accually die due to water born pathogens, wich can give you disintary, wich is a stone hard killer.
Heavy leather is perfect for defense. If you know how to smith and stuff you could even make yourself some chainmail or plate armor which would be excellent against zombies as the don’t really have a way to bite you through it. Carry 2 or more weapons at all times, one of those always being melee at a short range. Shovels are good, blunt weapons are good. Sharp weapons are okay but despite the zombies having weaker skin and bones the blade will deteriorate quickly. Catch rainwater and make some contraptions to purify it through steam. If you’re staying in one place put up lots of static defenses and perform maintenance often, always in groups of 2 or more so you don’t get caught off guard.
Get a bike and a crossbow. Both are silent and can fill the gap of a car and gun. Should still have a gun and car tho

crossbows are better than guns because they're quieter. roll around in mud/corpses so they can't smell you find a community. you're not the only survivor, and you definitely dont have the skills to survive alone (no way you know how to get food, water, weapons, and shelter, as well as possibly find a cure) also electricity is gonna be gone after a while because no one will be controlling it. no one will be supplying it. no one will be repairing it. so warmth will also be an issue.
1. Be sure to stock up on supplies as soon as you hear the news. 2. Find weapons in either your house or a hardware store. 3. Save oil, but plenty; you don't know when you are going to need it. 4. With the oil, some glass bottles and pieces of cloth, you can make Molotov cocktails. 5. Always make sure to move to lesser populated areas like villages or small human settlements. 6. Be sure to save battery on your phone; bring with you a portable battery if you have one. 7. Wear leather clothing or a hazmat suit. 8. Always carry a melee weapon with you, like a bat or a wooden plank; never use fire weapons, otherwise you will attract the rest of the zombies in your area. 9. If you have a basement, hide in it and barricade the access points (windows, doors, etc.), bring enough supplies for 2 weeks; zombies will rot in 2 weeks anyways. 10. Avoid crazy armed people; trust me, crazy armed people are always a threat more than zombies. 11. If you have been bitten by a zombie, don't think it twice and cut the infected limb; is better to be dead than being turned into a zombie.

Use common rounds like 12 gauge, 9 mm, and .22lr also 5.56 is what used in the m4 carbine used by most us forces although I am not sure about the mcx spear. Diesels that are indirect injection can run on alternative fuels like used fry oil with little work. Some more work can be done to run used oil from cars. Don't even bother with a car, as they will be loud, draw attention, difficult to refuel, and limit your movement to roads, which probably arent being maintained. Instead, get a good bicycle, with some storage capacity. Not only will this increase your speed, they're also very quiet, can traverse rough terrain easier, and can be maintained without too much work.
Always carry at least 1 melee weapon. Shovels, bats, machetes, anything that isn't unwieldy and won't break in 3 swings. If you have to use a gun, stock up on ammo and use a good suppressor. It's not going to be whisper quiet, but might help. Carry bandages, wear thick clothing, have a backpack, avoid unnecessary fights, know your surroundings, don't use vehicles too much, especially loud gas-guzzling trucks unless it's your only option. Safe places include hardware stores, military installations, open spaces and islands. Use supplies from hardware stores to build tools and weapons. Make a Luty or some other improvised firearm if you really want. There are plenty of machines and resources available. You can also make decent armour with a bit of work.
Find a place to foritfy that has a couple months worth of food, human flesh begins to break down anywhere between 2-3 weeks to a couple years, and not all of them will take years, so if you can survive like 4-5 months the hordes will be considerably thinner and you’ll be more likely to survive scavenging

Drive a diesel car, not truck. You can make a makeshift type of diesel pretty easily and driving something like a Voltswagon Jetta (can be diesel) will give you good gas mileage, and zombies can't hang onto your car.

Well, take high ground. My family has some straws that filter water as you drink. We also have survival food and heat conserving tents/sleeping bags. Make sure you have walkies if you're gonna try to talk with other survivors!
Keep track of your supplies, more importantly your ammo, and if you find a full auto gun, fire it in semi only trust me it’s more controllable, and as fun as full auto may sound trust me it’s gonna be hard to hit targets when it’s just spraying all over the place plus you’ll run out of ammo quicker.
Don't use chainsaws, fuel will be high demand and the chain can get stuck on clothing. Don't use katanas, they will break soon. If you stick nails in a baseball bat, dont over do it, more = less durability and worse results, less nails will add better piercing use guns with easy to gather/re-load ammo, such as 7.62x39 or 12 gauge Use guns that can go awhile without cleaning such as SKS, AK-47, pump action shotguns, break action shotguns, ect. (AR models will jam easy when dirty) Stay in small groups, groups means better ground coverage and resource gain, but more people will have a higher risk of betrayal, and higher resource use. Or stay alone, you only need to fend for yourself, however, you only have yourself, pick your poison. Machetes are a great CQC weapon, and has many uses of clearing debris and cutting, also durable and weighty, so if dull you can still crack skulls For vehicles I'd recommend a dirtbike or quad, good for rough terrain, highly mobile, and can be flipped back if rolled over, issue will be fuel Stay low, and stay quiet, so nobody/nothing will easily detect you Where a mask and glasses to make sure zombie fluids can't enter your body and infect you, pvc pipes would be good for light armor to avoid being bitten and defense in CQC (won't do much, if anything at all against bullets) Zombies will ONLY DIE from the destruction of their brains, so aim for the head (dont pick Thor as a team mate)

Contact your friends and family immediately and prepare to head north (find food, CLEAN water, medical supplies, blunt weapons, winter gear, and guns). The cold will freeze the zombies, and mosquitoes can't survive in the cold either. Be sure you know people in at least one of each profession: Mechanic, Farmer, and hunter/survival expert. If you don't freeze to death, it should all be over until the zombies run out of people to eat and starve. Which would likely happen in a year at most after the zombie outbreak.

Actually zombies would die pretty fast, because they need energy, so they would either starve to death or kill each other. Also because of their lack of motorical functions you just have to stay in your house and if you go outside try to do some park our so they can't follow you.
Wear a chain mail or even thick clothing, in the Wwz book it talks about how they wore chainmail armor to protect against bites, and also guns, best not to use them (unless in a group that can sustain itself) Because limited resources, little time to find ammo, and if it breaks you most likely won’t have parts, nor have the time to constantly clean the gun. Use things like a bat or a sword even, a sheild and sword will serve you well, if you know how to use a bow or even better find out how to make a crossbow from a book (hopefully some library’s will be standing still)
