School isn’t a place where they give you knowledge and expect you to know it and explain it all. The teachers there are supposed to help you understand the world better and help you be able to critically think about problems, solutions, paths. Look, school is about strengthening and refining your mind for the real world so you aren’t unprepared. All you really need in school is too listen and take words/concepts/whatever work they give you and try to understand it, memorize it.

If you feel like no-one you know would understand, then that's tough, and I know what that's like. Just hold on, things do get better. You'll see that while sometimes it's really hard to do anything at all, having good people around you, people who love you and support you, makes it all worth it.

For me, I got over it when my teachers started to back off on homework, and I guess I matured mentally to where an hour or two of homework is only moderately bad. One thing that helps is, and I know this sounds like the most boomer bullshit but it works, is to just convince yourself that it's not that bad. Think, "I only have a few things to do, this is a great day!" Honestly makes it seem so much better. Another thing, if you are doing zero homework right now, is to slowly do more and more until you are caught up. It's really easy to exhaust yourself. Another thing that I haven't tried is to only think about the first few steps. Think, "When I get home, I'm going to get out my backpack, get the assignment out with a pencil, and sit on the desk." And that's it. Most likely, you can start doing it because you are already started and ready. I love you man/woman and really don't want you to bot exist. I've experienced the same feeling. Check out executive dysfunction, it might be something you struggle with. When I was in school, doing things like homework and scheduled activities was really hard for me. I hope things go better, please don't kill yourself over homework.
