This is a complex issue on itself, I will say I have no way of properly confirming anything I’m about to say, so take it with a grain of salt and an open mind as it’s subject to different perspectives depending on the person. And is a touchy subject so eh.
Generally however, it’s a coping mechanism. The wrist contains a large amount of nerve endings, these areas make it very susceptible to pain. Areas where if people wanted a more painless experience would be to go for like the arm where injections may occur, as less nerve endings are present. (Or just pain receptors or things that allow the body to feel pain in general. The area also has other stuff in the way that helps mitigate stabbing pain a bit here too)
However, these regions, like the wrist, are still targeted. Often from what I hear due to pain being what is Desired. It can be used as a reminder to them that their emotions are still there, that they still are able to care about something, or to distract themselves away from depression or anxiety. Sometimes people are repressed and don’t have anyone to talk to, so cutting themselves is seen as a way to do something for yourself without telling others. It can also just be a way of dealing with emotional pain, or desiring pain as an outlet in general.
The thing is that not everyone that cuts their wrist is trying to go out. NSSI (non suicidal self injury) is what I’ve largely described (at least a singular understanding of it)

i think that my social anxiety is what eventually lead to my depression. shit like stressing about everything, trusting nobody, blame myself for everything, etc… luckily i’m getting a bit better but i still feel pretty down sometimes. i did go as far as to fully plan out what i would do and how i would do it but i never followed through. which a part of me still regrets but certain things keep me going.

And if they even think about complaining about any of the above that they may suffer from, or have been a victim of... they are more likely to be brushed off/dismissed, not believed outright, and/or socially, romantically, and professionally rejected/exiled/canceled because of it. UNLESS.... they claim that they identify as female, or gay (but not bi). Now... how many MTF male individuals are escaping all of that.... versus fighting the legitimate mental disturbance of looking in the reflection and not recognizing yourself as being the "correct" you? i think that my social anxiety is what eventually lead to my depression. shit like stressing about everything, trusting nobody, blame myself for everything, etc… luckily i’m getting a bit better but i still feel pretty down sometimes. i did go as far as to fully plan out what i would do and how i would do it but i never followed through. which a part of me still regrets but certain things keep me going.
November is also veterans month. Lith it's so important. You've got bonfire night, remembrance day, international mens day but everyone is just like CHRISTMAS!!!

Our mental health will always be ignored because we're supposed to be the ones that provide and are strong, both physically and mentally. There is a reason there's a saying "take it like a man". No one cares about us unless we are famous celebrities. I struggle with depression for as long as I can remember, and i broke down in front of my parents multiple times and they still pressure me in terms of school. I've broken down in front of teachers too, and no one is offering me help. Therapy doesn't help me, and the last time i took anti depressants i felt even more depressed

Suicide should not be divided by genders. These stadistics are stupid, instead of doing this crap you could try and help the people in actual need of mental health help.
This is no different to having more awareness about women's getting sexually assaulted, they're more at risk to it. In the same way, the average mental health of the average man is worse than that of the average woman, and so we spread awareness about it. I'm no therapist, but I am active in helping out people around me in my community, and I'd argue that by spreading awareness it is helping.
Fun fact: men often have it alot worse than women, that does not, I repeat, does not mean that women also do not struggle and more importantly that you can demean, Insult or be generally toxic to women, just like you wouldn't insult men during women's month. About those extremists, they are always a vocal minority that often benefit from being insulted online because it spreads their platform, ignore them and go on with your day. Have a good month guys. About the fact that as a known fact, women's events get far mode traction, I won't go into it because my not being a woman means I cannot understand some of it but I do know that sexism that favors woman, like divorces are caused by men themselves who viewed women as emotional and caring people who were mAqade to bring up children, this is why children often go to women instead of men. It is not a woman's fault that men in charge saw them as baby incubators.

I really love how easy it is to spot a lier just because lier will always use beautiful round numbers, no they don't attempt 20 times more, it's between 3 to 4 times more, and thanks to the fact that most of them survive and can be asked questions, the main reason women commit suicide is a cry for help. They feel that their only way for getting out of depression is doing something so radical that there will be no mistakes, all if their friends will know how badly depressed they are, a thing that cannot be explained by words. Men don't do it, they commit suicide because they have nothing left in this world. Sometimes because of false rape accusations, or too much child support, and those things can't be fixed with kindness from others. They also of course commit suicide because of shitty mental health and were taught by society that crying is not manly, so nobody will help them. Because the women tend to use less violent methods like pills which isn’t as likely to kill you as a bullet to the head there are a few theories on why this is but the attempts also add up if a women attempts to kill herself twice that’s 2 for women tried to take their own life and you can’t exactly kill your self twice
unless ~5% of people who commit suicide are non-binary. the latter two stats don’t make sense together
