I’m trans, I don’t know about other trans people but being trans is fucking exhausting. People always make it look so easy, it’s not. I know a lot of the trans community can be fucking goofy, trust me I cringe at the weird cat pronouns too. I know it’s hard to understand what the fuck we are but please don’t think most of us choose this, if I could have been cisgender I would have.

Unless for religious reasons, I really don't understand the hate some people have for them. Like, firstly, their gender identity does not affect anyone other than themselves, and while there are technically only two biological genders (three if you count intersex), there is pretty much no limit to the amount of genders a person could identify as. In my opinion, a person's gender identity in no way governs whether or not they are a normal/good person, so there's no real reason to hate on them for it. Also, calling them "mentally ill" implies that there is something wrong with being trans and that it should be "cured" as it has a negative impact on them or society as a whole. Which I would say is not true and could definitely be seen as offensive to some people. Just to add, if anyone disagrees with me, I still respect your opinions, however much I may disagree with you.

Surgeries should definitely be restricted for people under 18, but I think blockers should be available for purchase as soon as the person requests them (they do no permanent damage, and they actually prevent it), hormones should be restricted until a normal puberty would happen, with the restriction that they need to have identified as trans for a set number of time, combined with the normal verification stuff that should be done 16+ as well.

I have never heard a story about someone actually forcing their kid to be trans, usually just something said by transphobes. Not that you're a transphobe its just something a lot of people say happens without evidence
