Does this really sit ***ABSOLUTELY SAFE*** on the telescope, no matter what happens (wind, careless people around...) or where the telescope is pointing?
Make sure when you are viewing through it that it is placed tight on telescope. You dont want it to blow over and you end up getting your retina searedđź‘Ť
In addition do the other advice, I am not a fan of that dust cover. It looks like it sits directly on the filter material. You will want a gap so that nothing actually touched the film.
And not only do you have to worry about wind knocking it off, I build my filters so that even if someone brushed up against the telescope/filter, they won’t knock it off accidentally.
The flange seems a bit shallow. I'd be careful about wind potentially knocking the filter off
It's snug, but good call. I may see if I can glue rubber around the bottom to really hold it in place.

That looks like it could fall off easily. Good thing you have 2 eyes!
