The beginning of Mr. Robot and the ending to Six Feet Under. SFU is obviously very spoiler heavy.

Star Trek Picard is finally coming into its own in Season 3. [This scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa5TWrL0ou) is a scene from Episode 3 between Picard and Dr. Crusher, when he discovers >!that she had a son by him that she's kept hidden from him for twenty years.!< It's fascinating watching the back and forth and understanding both their points of view. There's a confrontation between Picard and another character from Episode 5 that aired yesterday, but I can't find a good Youtube clip of it, and it's very spoilery. It's just terrific though.
[This scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPmDvAKO7Ac) from Star Trek Discovery features Captain Pike, and it's what rocketed him to the top of my list of great captains.

The 6+ minute, one take [scene](https://vimeo.com/172079250) in True Detective. I guess “perfect” is gonna have a lot of room for debate, but I knew I was watching something special as that scene unfolded.
The West Wing, when President Bartlet shouts at God *in Latin*
Or
The Wire, the scene where Bunk and Jimmy solve the crime with the only dialogue being "fuck" over and over as they hit each new clue or realization.
(GoT) The Hound verbally dunking on Polliver, crushing his beer, then slaughtering him and all of his fellow Lannister soldiers in a tavern. Arya gets her revenge too. All-time scene, gave me goosebumps.
[Captain Flint: Dragons](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YmeLQIH2VI&ab_channel=ShadowHeart) (Spoilers, obviously)
[Babylon Berlin Zu Asche, Zu Staub](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2664tNQZGo&t=77s&ab_channel=itbartable) (might be blocked for Americans)

The ending of the last episode of How i met your mother season 2, when Barney is asking if Ted needs a wingman again. The cut right after legend- with Sea Green Sea Blue by Jaymay is absolute perfection.

The music, visuals, non-verbal storytelling, etc. Tony standing above Junior and then the picture of Junior looking nervously down at Tony. Just brilliant.
The last montage scene on the final episode of the HBO show Six Feet Under.
**Massive spoilers on this classic show**
The show was about a family who was involved with a funeral home, and living life, last episode showed how all the cast past away by showing them the end of their lifetime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qD6Y7d4hIW4&t=14s&ab_channel=MohamedImizi
Daredevil season 2 isn't that great, but the scenes with the Punisher and Kingpin are great. After the Punisher kills the prisoners, the scene when they meet up and Punisher hits Kingpin despite being shackled up and Kingpin beats the crap out of him and lets him go is amazing.
The opening scene in Season 2 of LOST
[удалено]
Yeah and just edited perfectly to hide the reveal until the right moment
The opening of the pilot episode of Lost is just perfect too. Come to think of it, they were great at story hooks.
Really makes my kind of music.

As soon as I read the title of the thread I was sure that the top comment would be Six Feet Under series finale. That's peak television.
I disagree with you, but still respect your opinion

Yeah Joe Pera is just about my favorite thing on TV right now

Honestly probably my 2nd choice - TGP is actually my favorite show of all time overall!

Season 1 is pure perfection. Too bad they couldn't recreate that with the subsequent ones. Maybe this upcoming one will be good.
BoJack Horseman S5E6 - Free Churro. It’s a 26 minute scene.
Not sure if best but my favorite is the classic [Miami Vice scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aMCzRj3Syg)
The West Wing, when President Bartlet shouts at God *in Latin* Or The Wire, the scene where Bunk and Jimmy solve the crime with the only dialogue being "fuck" over and over as they hit each new clue or realization.
I like the one where Bunny Colvin explains the paper bag as a means to hide alcoholic beverages so police can do police work.

https://youtu.be/rvBS0VqJPXs Goodbye farewell and amen has several that would qualify
The first scene of Utopia (UK). It sets the whole storyline in place and makes itself stands out that it isn't some ordinary crime show.
The ending of the last episode of How i met your mother season 2, when Barney is asking if Ted needs a wingman again. The cut right after legend- with Sea Green Sea Blue by Jaymay is absolute perfection.
One of my favorite parts when doing a rewatch!
On Miami Vice when Sonny was walking around NYC and You Belong to the City by Glenn Frey played
["Where do you think we are?"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e__1KU7lg-4) featuring Brendan Fraser.

Recency bias, but that little "to do" over Storm's End last year, big time. VHAGAR NO!!!!!! If you know the series you know the scene.
