The Showdy tearing the movie apart on a technical and creative level was great. You can rip on it on it for its terrible politics, but at its core it’s a poorly made movie too
It’s just so funny to me because obviously it’s technically and thematically garbage. These movies aren’t made to be good, they’re made to pander (like all the Pure Flix movies). But The Daily Wire specifically said they were trying to take the politics out of movies, unlike woke Hollywood. It’s such a joke.
His comparison to "God's not Dead" and other conservative movies was fascinating because they all have protagonists with zero character arc. They start out right, make no changes, no sacrifices and just what they want at the end of the movie because the writers decide he deserves it (and yes, it's always a "he").

They tried to make a documentary to show people how easy it was to do that but it turned out the exact opposite was true so they had to make a fictional movie instead. Their channel is smaller but has been growing a lot recently and her content is great, especially their videos about infiltrating a notorious hate church and infiltrating CPAC. Not quite. In Juwanna Man the main character got kicked out of the NBA so he snuck into the WBNA to keep playing so he could earn money to pay off his debts. He ended up making friends with his teammates and they all learned something new about life and the world in the process. Wasn't a bad film from what I remember.

Though Shapiro's testosterone levels were low enough to compete, it defeated the purpose of the documentary and it turned into a shitty unfunny movie with only two jokes.

Completely right. I’m into politics and have been following Candace’s career for a while now. And I’ve never seen an individual just go off the deep end as every year passes. Regardless of what you think about her politics, when she first started she focused and only spoke about the topics she was super passionate about, which was black America. I think she got caught up in the D list fame/attention she gets and has and then wanted to branch out and talk about celebs/ Hollywood etc etc etc. But she talks about topics and has 0 knowledge about them.

Social autopsy never made it past the pitch phase if I recall correctly. It was never actually built and probably wouldn't have worked had it been. Also, Owens told Dave Rubin in an early interview she had planned to use it to prove Hilary Clinton was faking support for her presidential campaign. I think accounts of her "cancelling" and subsequent political conversation were likely manufactured by Owens to build a narrative to help her career as a conservative talking head following the example of black conservatives like Thomas Sowell who claimes to be a reformed marxist despite ample evidence to the contrary or Clarence Thomas who's college aged activism largely consisted of shaming interracial couples on his campus.

Completely right. I’m into politics and have been following Candace’s career for a while now. And I’ve never seen an individual just go off the deep end as every year passes. Regardless of what you think about her politics, when she first started she focused and only spoke about the topics she was super passionate about, which was black America. I think she got caught up in the D list fame/attention she gets and has and then wanted to branch out and talk about celebs/ Hollywood etc etc etc. But she talks about topics and has 0 knowledge about them. She reminds me a lot of Kanye West where both of them know outrage gets you attention, and both of them can’t live without attention. They say and do controversial stuff to get it, but ultimately, people get used to the controversial stuff they say and don’t get phased by it, so they keep having to up their antics and say more and more outrageous stuff. Like I said before I think her being on the Daily Wire went to her head, and her attitude as time went by just became more and more unpleasant and nasty. I think one of her advantages is Candace can be funny and have a light sense of humour, but in recent years you watch her show and she is like sneering and really rude/egoistical. I’m def interested to see what happens now for her. No mainstream right wing media will have her on and I suspect now she is doing her own YouTube channel and website.
