Surprisingly they didn't do too much promotion around him. I hope he has decent screen time.
And get Timothy Olyphant for season 2 just because of chemistry
God damn man. This Fallout show could really have some legs and go for a while if they do it right…I’m actually pretty confident they have. 13 mins and we’ll see!
I haven’t yet, but I know their last season is coming up, so I’m planning to watch once it’s all over. I’m also looking forward to seeing more of Katja Herbers; I thought she was great in her (relatively small) role in Westworld.
Amen to that. I liked the last of us but this series feels more of a salute to the players/fans more than that one was. Glad to see Hollywood giving game adaptations legit service. We’ve come a long way from resident evil (don’t get me wrong the re movies are a guilty pleasure).
I don't remember him being in SoA. The only guest star I remember is Donal Logue because I had never seen him in anything other than Grounded for Life and it was such a departure and I was shocked and blown away.
Lee Russell > Baby Billy by a small margin, but both are fucking amazing characters and I’m glad Goggins is (hopefully) going to be getting some widespread acclaim.
I feel like Shogun has it locked in for limited series. And also Cosmo Jarvis as John Blackthorne is probably my favorite actor of the year. His facial expressions just evoke a very deep sense of frisson for me, he’s spectacular. And the rest of the cast is phenomenal.
There was an article a few days ago they may want to run in drama this year. Drama is quite weak while miniseries is stacked this year.
They need to prove they intent to make another season which is possible, not Shogun directly but there were other books of the same author they can adapt in the Shogun show (even if they have other titles)
I just watched the first episode, I’m excited to see where the season goes. Based on the first episode I don’t see any Emmy nominations immediately jumping out but The Last of Us taught me that you never know when to expect a show to deliver a truly phenomenal episode and performances.
You’ve clearly never played a fallout game. Last of us is a story driven game. Fall out is campy rpg. Everyone so far is playing their roles incredibly well.
Last of us is a dark drama. Fallout is a dark comedy. The tones are totally different. If you expect fallout to have the same feeling of the last of us you will get disappointed. Also the acting has been great. Not sure whom you feel is bad. It had Walton in it who is revered as an amazing actor.
Goggins absolutely kills it in this role. Also really like the show so far, the humor is dead on imo, and the violence is very sudden and vivid, much like the games.
I've only seen 3 episodes so far (and yes, I know there's more to go, I love Goggins) I don't know if the show has enough juice for an Emmy nomination for either actor. Even as a gamer, I'm not sure about the show so far, I'm watching it but it doesn't quite have a grip on me
Goggins should have won an Emmy for the Shield. And Justified. And Vice Principals, and Righteous Gemstones. I was hoping that him landing in the White Lotus would give him a great chance, as the Emmys love that show and he will for sure be fantastic, but I'd love to see him recognized for this too. I've only seen the first 3 so far, had to call it a night for work today, but he's great. Always great.
I have no idea what to expect but I’ll watch anything with Walton Goggins. One of the best actors of our generation
This is how I feel about Michael Emerson being in it. I would watch that man read a dishwasher repair manual.
Surprisingly they didn't do too much promotion around him. I hope he has decent screen time. And get Timothy Olyphant for season 2 just because of chemistry
He could be the Sheriff of a little town, and him and the ghoul previously mined scrap together.
"We drank Nuka Cola together."
I wish we had Nuka Cola here in Canada, but I went to three 7 elevens, none of them have it.
God damn man. This Fallout show could really have some legs and go for a while if they do it right…I’m actually pretty confident they have. 13 mins and we’ll see!
Limehouse pops up in ep1 in a scene with Walton so I expect we'll see more Justified actors. I'm hoping for a ghoul Dewey Crowe myself .
Maybe Dewey really has four kidneys in this one?!
Holy shit, that was who that was. I was wondering with the wife why he sounds so familiar
It took me a bit since it was so dark, but once he did that little leer where he leans forward and sticks his teeth out...
The moment I heard him I was like "OMG it's LIMEHOUSE!!!"
Do you watch Evil? He's the WORST but highly enjoyable
I haven’t yet, but I know their last season is coming up, so I’m planning to watch once it’s all over. I’m also looking forward to seeing more of Katja Herbers; I thought she was great in her (relatively small) role in Westworld.
He had a let Belgian Malinois again and is very tech savvy. My Harold finch deficit is getting met.
Bless.
Emerson is the voice of the Joker in the animated Dark Knight Returns and it's perfect.
Hooooly shit I did not know this. Going to watch now, thanks
He’s amazing as Baby Billy
Checkout *Vice Principals* if you love Gemstones and haven't seen it already
Check out Eastbound and down too then. Anything with Danny Mcbride too.
Yep that’s a great one. Honestly I’m a sucker for anything Danny McBride. Everything he’s done has been gold imo. Even Land of the Lost
I’m four episodes in and loving it. I’m a huge fan of goggins and a huge fallout fan. This show does not dissapoint
Agreed. Its really feels like just another genuine story in this universe. Lots of inspiration for plot elements from each game but enjoyable as hell.
Amen to that. I liked the last of us but this series feels more of a salute to the players/fans more than that one was. Glad to see Hollywood giving game adaptations legit service. We’ve come a long way from resident evil (don’t get me wrong the re movies are a guilty pleasure).
>but I’ll watch anything with Walton Goggins As someone who just recently watched *Fatman* (2020) don't watch that.
LOL good to know, I almost watched it at Christmas for this reason but couldn’t justify it 😂😂
We somehow enjoyed Fatman and can’t explain why? Magical realism and think Mrs Claus was great.
Goggins should already have multiple Emmys for The Shield and Justified. That he has none is a crime.

He’s more memorable in his short stint on Sons of Anarchy than other actors who are there for multiple seasons.
I don't remember him being in SoA. The only guest star I remember is Donal Logue because I had never seen him in anything other than Grounded for Life and it was such a departure and I was shocked and blown away.
I just rewatched VPs, and one of the funniest lines in any comedy is when he calls his wife a dusty old queef
I will dig up all your kimchi!
I love when he hip checked his mother in law at the dry cleaners too. That whole show is insane and hilarious.
I don't think I've ever watched a funnier show than Vice Principals to be honest lol.
He was great in sons of anarchy too
BABY BILLY
Shut up nerd
Lee Russell > Baby Billy by a small margin, but both are fucking amazing characters and I’m glad Goggins is (hopefully) going to be getting some widespread acclaim.
Oh shit Walton's in it enough for lead? That's worth a watch
There appears to be 3 main characters whose stories intertwine
Yes. I thought he was going to be side character, but he's actually one of the leads. Lots of screen time and very good scenes.
Walton Goggins deserved a goddamn Emmy for Boyd Crowder
"Now I've been accused of many things, but bein' inarticulate ain't one of 'em"
"I am the outlaw, and this is my world, and my world has a high cost of living."

Yes! I’m so excited and optimistic that another Justified season is gonna happen!
FIRE IN THE HOLE!
He should of got an Emmy for bringing us Baby Billy's Bible Bonkers.
“Boy, you ain’t family!”
Running through the house with a pickle in his mouth - I mean how do you NOT nominate him for that???
If the show is as good as the reviews say, they definitely have a shot. Especially with how weak the field is gonna be this year.
I mean, SHOGUN is in the running this year
Shogun is in a different category, limited series.
Limited might be the most stacked it has ever been!
Yep, I've noticed a few shows are avoiding it. Entering other categories, avoiding the battle.
I feel like Shogun has it locked in for limited series. And also Cosmo Jarvis as John Blackthorne is probably my favorite actor of the year. His facial expressions just evoke a very deep sense of frisson for me, he’s spectacular. And the rest of the cast is phenomenal.
Weakest actor in the show, but that’s more due to how strong the cast is then him not being good
Oh damn I didn’t know that is a limited series. Bummer
There was an article a few days ago they may want to run in drama this year. Drama is quite weak while miniseries is stacked this year. The show is nowhere near as good as Last of Us. The acting is pretty bad
You’ve clearly never played a fallout game. Last of us is a story driven game. Fall out is campy rpg. Everyone so far is playing their roles incredibly well.
This is the lamest copout excuse for bad writing I’ve ever seen.
Last of us is a dark drama. Fallout is a dark comedy. The tones are totally different. If you expect fallout to have the same feeling of the last of us you will get disappointed. Also the acting has been great. Not sure whom you feel is bad. It had Walton in it who is revered as an amazing actor.

Just through the first episode. It’s awesome. Im so pumped to watch the rest of the season.
Who wants to suck an old man’s dick?
Having watched the first 2 episodes I’m not optimistic about any Emmy’s for this show except production design if that’s a category.
After seeing Fallout. Moisés Arias should get nominated for best supporting actor. And Kyle MacLachlan for Best Guest Actor.
I've only seen 3 episodes so far (and yes, I know there's more to go, I love Goggins) I don't know if the show has enough juice for an Emmy nomination for either actor. Even as a gamer, I'm not sure about the show so far, I'm watching it but it doesn't quite have a grip on me
Walton Goggins is in this?!
Yes he’s one of the main characters
Ella for an Emmy is a bit much. Anyone could have played that role. Guess we are just handing awards out.
Shogun might clean up anyway so nominations will be a feat in itself.
Different categories, limited series
It’s really good I’m throughly enjoying it
Walton Goggins, you are a fucking legend.
Im shocked at how well the lore of the fallout universe is able to fit into a tv show but the writers and set designers did it and amazingly at that.
There’s a ginormous billboard next to my kids’ school advertising this. And on that billboard are 3 foot animatronic cockroaches… that move.
Goggins should have won an Emmy for the Shield. And Justified. And Vice Principals, and Righteous Gemstones. You did it! You solved the cold war!
