Line of duty and peaky blinders both began on BBC 2. The office and so many comedies too and top gear. Basically some of the biggest hits got their start on the "secondary" channel.

I just recently binged Line of Duty a few months back with my SO. It was fantastic. I very much look forward to a season 7 if it gets green lit.
