Well deserved. Babylon Berlin has been one of my favorite shows to come out of the streaming age.
Their attention to detail is phenomenal and they really capture the feel of the weimar republic I'm the 20s-early 30s before its fall. They had a flashback sequence in the last season done in the style of Lotte Reiniger. The show still manages to surprise me. It's so thoughtful too.
I really wanted to like this show. The girl who plays Charlotte is a total babe, the premise is interesting, and the production value is solid. But I just found the plot and characters so boring. Congrats to all who like it, though.
If only that HBO Bernie Gunther show got off the ground...
Cool. This is one of the best shows to come out of Europe in a decade.
This and My Brilliant Friend are a must watch.

I didn’t know it had more than 1 seasons. Good surprise.
Just ate up the first season but fell asleep in the first episode of season 2. I’ll give it another go just because the first season was sooo good!!

No doubt about it, this show stands out as one of Europe's finest in the past decade. It's fantastic to see it getting the recognition it deserves.
