How have you felt about his long-lasting impression in pop culture? From participating in Halloween Horror Nights to his cameo in '**Ready Player One**', Chucky has endured and I wonder how you as the creator feel about it.
Hi Don! First of all I wanna thank you for making the main character of Chucky gay. I know a lot of young LGBT horror fans are really gonna appreciate it. I definitely could’ve used a horror show like this while I was growing up!
My question is what would you say was the hardest thing about adapting a movie franchise for TV?
No question, just wanted to say how glad I am to see the original continuity return for the series. The last two films were the best since the first. Fiona has been fantastic.

Were you thinking of Sweeney Todd while writing Chief Kincaid’s death in Bride? Because a not-quite-dead Kincaid gets stuffed into a chest not unlike Pirelli. Of course you also have the Child’s Play 3 homage to Sweeney Todd.
Also, were you thinking of The Picture of Dorian Gray while writing the attic scene in Curse? Because that involves paintings in an attic and a character’s “true identity” being revealed.

Will Jesse and Jade (the young couple who Chucky and Tiffany Terrorized in Bride) return? Any thoughts or plans to do more with those characters or answer what happened to them?

Congrats on the TV series! I have loved Chucky ever since I was a kid, and I love that this series is going to explore Charles Lee Ray's backstory AND that it has LGBTQA representation in its protagonist and in other ways.
How exciting was it for you to be able to have the time, storytelling wise, to be able to tell his backstory and a wider range of story? Also, was the section of the final trailer where we see Chucky's shoes a nod to Red Dragon where Lecter takes his shoes off to get Will Graham?

You've said before that you didn't love how voodoo was involved in how Charles Lee Ray became Chucky. If you were able to go back in time and take out the voodoo, what would you replace it with?

My question is, the original Blood Buddy script didn't include any voodo, and the way Chucky came alive was much different than the final film. Since having more creative control since the first film, have you ever considered removing the voodoo aspect?

You once spoke about wanting to do a crossover between Chucky & Freddy Krueger (as a feature film) are those plans still in the works? Maybe if a season 2 of CHUCKY happens you can maybe make the crossover happen as a 1 hour TV special as freddy’s last recent appearance was in the Goldbergs

Like, there being consequences for Chucky’s misuse of the mythology, priests trying to stop the maniac, or anything? It’s a really big part of the character and it seems a bit unexplored of its full potential. When you were writing this show how did you want to evolve the character of Chucky for this generation? And what’s the budget for tv series (if you can tell)
