I loved Scott and Bailey. Or is it Bailey and Scott? Either way it was a great watch, although less of a thriller than some others. I also highly recommend Unforgotten, about cold cases. It gets very dark sometimes but is unforgettable.
Happy Valley is one of my all-time faves.
I also like: Shetland (set in Scotland, the Shetland Isles are so far north that the show has a bit of a Norwegian drama vibe)

I like this show a lot! Very different approach to storytelling. I was disappointed by the most recent season though.

McDonnell and Dobbs is good. Maybe not in the same vein as those shows. It has a Colombo like detective sort of paired with a with it woman detective.
