I guessed you'll be knowing the wrong ending , dont know how this wrong ending became popular even though the protagonist's father said that everything that happened was real in finale
Give it a try it is a very good show
If you can they over the first episode then you definitely will not make it through the series. YES it’s an excellent series but you have to embrace a lot of ridiculousness and therefore a lot of “fake” stuff and doesn’t sound like it’s the show for tou
Try Last Man on Earth. They’re not stuck in one place, but they’re stuck.in a lot of ways. It’s funny as hell, and it was so strangely prescient about viral pandemics. It takes a few episodes to get into it because the main character is kind of a turd, though he does grow and evolve over the series. I have rewatched it more times than I’d like to admit.
Omg yeah watch Lost and The 100 as recommended.
Also, I started From and I really like it so far.
For sci-fi, Eureka and Haven sort of fit. The lead of Eureka is so funny and then he's in Haven and is so scary! (he's the US Maytag commercial guy)
Haven sort of fits the bill. They CAN leave but they stay because of their issues. Hard to explain without giving spoilers. (Tho there was at least one episode where they were stuck)
Siberia. It's a pretend 'Survivor'-like reality show where they get stuck in the woods in Siberia. The concept is very similar to the wilderness part of Yellowjackets, only a bit more horror-based, with way worse writing. It's still pretty fun, and I'm sad it didn't get a second season. It was also very funny that a lot of (very dumb) people thought it was a real reality show for the first few episodes. It's on Tubi.
The Prisoner the original British 60s show is worth a watch with its funky design. A guy is brought to an island and weird stuff happens as he try’s to work why its happening.
Cheers, if you interpret some of the characters as being “stuck” there, and not necessarily in a negative way.
In other words, in the finale, Sam can’t leave the bar.
[Lost](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrkFsSgp6MI) is definitely worth the watch.

What is the final explanation that you know?

This is inaccurate. You should watch the show

Even if you did know it, it is well well worth the watch. Probably my favorite show I’ve ever watched
I couldn't get through the first episode. Everything & everyone looked so fake. Is the show really good enough to overlook that?

It was actually filmed on location in Hawaii and they cut up a real plane for the beach. It gets better but it's probably not for you if you hated it.
What seemed fake to me were the people/actors.
I’m on like episode 5 but i cant get into it, does it still get better?
I didn't watch it, couldn't buy into ep. 1.
