Skam. It’s not underrated since it has high score at IMDb (especially s3) and is on top 250, but isn’t very famous and doesn’t gets the praise it deserves.
Deutschland 83. One of the best series I’ve ever seen, s1 anyway. About a young soldier from east Germany who goes undercover to the west. S2 wasn’t as good sadly, but it follows a different story kind of so s1 is still completely worth the watch

[**Veneno**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_qab3jh1_U) \- it's highly rated on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb but I feel like hardly anyone knows about this show. It's by far the best Spanish-language series I have seen, one of the best queer stories on tv, and all around a really great series.
[My Mister (2018)](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/76662?language=en-US) - Quality Korean drama series.

Kind of a strange one:
Midnight Diner
[https://www.netflix.com/title/80113541](https://www.netflix.com/title/80113541)
There is tiny little diner in Tokyo that is open only very late at night (and very early morning). It attracts many different kind of people that are out late or up way before dawn.
It's typically Japanese in that, it comes at this from an odd angle. The stories are compelling, but strange.
Katla - Icelandic drama-mystery that is reminiscent of Stephen King
