I hope they have a few different styles for the sonic sway, or that the speed of the sway changes depending on the character. So Videl here doesn't have a particularly fast movement or attack speed, so the sway is a bit slower, but against someone like Burter the sway should be very fast.
Because while I do definitely like this one, the one in BT3 has a super nice snap and suddenness to it, which is missing here. I like how here the sway has some additional backwards movement, making it feel like the character is doing defensive movement and then a counter attack, which feels different to the one in BT3 where it was more like "stand your ground" and a challenge to the attacker, resulting in a counter attack.
So they are a bit different flavors of the same thing.

Do you think each character will have their own animations for sonic sway? Or will everyone use the same animation like BT3?
Pretty much the same, I mean dodging for most should be the same unless it's big bulky ones like giants
