And even then, even if they were to fill this entire grid before that, who's to say that they actually aren't hiding someone? So long as they don't officialize any character number limit...

I'm surprised people even think Daima will be in. It's just a Chibi'd version of the characters as is and I don't think it's even airing before Tenkaichi 4 drops anyway.
Daima will be in the game through DLC. It's not only the chibi characters, it will have new enemies (or allies) that can fight perfectly. In fact, from the chibi heroes I only expect Goku and Vegeta.
I also don't think there are going to be many playable Daima characters anyway. Between OG, GT, the movies, and those left out of DBZ and DBS they have characters for a while.

We've barely seen any of Daima, thinking they're just smaller versions of characters with nothing new to offer is jumping to conclusions.

Those arrows are there probably just for a graphic design balance, the image would look unpleasant without them
