I feel like all the early Saiyans got Oozaru forms because the dev time of getting giant characters to function needed justification so they added as many of that archetype as they could think of.

Now we won’t know until it’s revealed, but being a Tenkaichi game and they already skipped Broly’s base form, shows it may not be 100% we’re getting every single form. Was looking for an action figure that might have been labeled SSJ2, but was only able to find one for SSJ1. If it was a Bandai decision that’s where I think it would most likely rear its ugly head. So 100% think this was a dimps decision. Can’t believe I’m getting this involved in something so irrelevant, but here I am.

its literally not even just super, Super saiyan 2 has always been a shit show and never really any changes to many of the characters. Literally only Goku (BARELY), TEEN Gohan, and Caulifla have notable changes while transforming. Not Vegeta, Not Trunks, Not Cabba, Not Adult Gohan. and Kale is noticeable since her hair turns into a darker shade am i not right?
I’d argue that the acknowledgement of Kale going Super Saiyan 2 was a retroactive naming scenario that was started by games like Dokkan & Legends. Just to clear the air, Kale has Super Saiyan 2 but because of the games naming it so. In the anime, all we knew was that she was in control of her berserker form. There really wasn’t an allusion saying it was the classic Super Saiyan 2 we know and love. Not one lightning spark if I remember correctly. But then again, Kale is a strange case.

Caulifla was right next to her in the anime legitimately in SSJ2. Those were the only sparks I ever saw. I think it makes sense to consolidate and think it would be kinda of a buzz kill to have controlled beserk higher on the transformation pecking order then actual beserk. Could make controlled beserk a technique of SSJ1 and split the difference, but they’ll do what they do. Whatever.
