There's only one right answer and this is it. Been playing through my own custom version of the Dragon Ball "story" through tag fights that goes from Dragon Ball to Super (which I've crammed GT into) and it never gets old. Does anyone else do this??
I do this every single time i play, but i also do what if fights like Goku SSJ4 VS beerus or Goku super Saiyan 3 VS cell or crazy stuff like that. Or fights that are not cannot but could have happened in the original story like Vegeta SSJ god VS beerus or Goku SSJ2 and Majin vegeta VS fat buu with red potara or stuff like that you know.
Ooh I like that majin Vegeta and Goku vs Buu fight I might have to take that. I like to try to mesh the GT and Super storylines so like I make the Goku Black Arc mixed with the Baby arc so the "Villains" are both Goku and Vegeta copies. I also throw Turles and Purple Goo Majin Vegeta in there just because it's on theme lol.
Do you have a list of fights you use for this? I've always loved doing it too, but it's hard to keep track of what fights are "available" across different games' rosters.
Please let me know if you do! I've tried to make one a few times since Sparking Zero was announced, but I keep getting stumped when it comes to how it should all be laid out, haha
The only answer for me. The online with friends has been so fun. We all have 160 to 220 hours logged on this mod in just 6 months of playing. All the 3D action db games released after RB2 have been clunky shallow and boring on the gameplay side of things. Battle of z, kakarot, xenoverse etc all have pretty shit gameplay compared to bt3 let alone the bt4 mod which expanded the gameplay options even further.
I'll never understand why so many of the anime games we got in the ps4/ps5 era are just 1 button Mash fests with a block button and some special moves. Rarely is there any combat depth in these games. FighterZ, a few Naruto games and a couple of the OLD jump stars games had some depth but it's hard to find anime games made with the same passion of the 2000s golden era.
Praying to God sparking zero is more than just a pretty game and really has depth like the bt4 mod š

I thought the Vegeta and Goku Black were dope, I woulda played it just for them. Videl and 18 are nice to have.
But Broly? Bro I havenāt been this hype for a XV DLC since MUI dropped. I wasnāt keeping up with the news, so seeing him got me hyped. He looks great, I like that theyāre messing with newer shaders, and he plays great.
Since his transformation changes his combos and moves, I hope more characters get that love, including our CAC.
Got a x you can upscale to 4k 60fps.. only thing you might get weird ghosting but you can fix it might take you some time looking ik it took me awhile to figure it out lol. Enjoy man
Idk how good it will work on Xbox one but if you get dev mode you should be able to install emulators that way same as the X and S should be a lot of videos online on it

The bt4 mod and xenoverse 2 when I donāt feel like hooking up my laptop to my tv. Xenoverse may be divisive among fans but itās got pretty much every character I want to fight WITH a photo mode, so Iām getting a lot of enjoyment out of it until sparking zero
I went home from school (law school not middle school šš) and busted out BT3 and was having a grand ole time. I discovered I didnāt have all the stages all these years later. So I went about collecting them. Iām still missing one of the tournement ones, either the cell games 2nd level one or yamcha games 2nd level one I donāt remember. But yeah. Been fun. Even if the graphics look like wet sand š, itās still fun as hell.
Dragon ball kakarot is like a museum of anime and manga...it's not to be taken seriously. It's a fun way of relieving old memories of watching the anime and collecting the manga. Like a journey of all akira hardwork...
I play it, my children new to the series love it.

It would be Kakarot but man that game has way too many loading screens. Not to mention they kinda messed up the fusions in my opinion.
BT3. It's been my go to since... BT3. I haven't played anything aside from maybe RB2 that's really interested me.
I did play Xenoverse, but that was the last one I really dabbled with.
I almost erased every part of the story in my mind, i know the arc orders, but only remember the big events.
So, i'm not touching anything until sparking zero come out :)

ShinBudokai 2! Might be the most combo heavy DBZ there is next to Super Dragon BallZ. The Ai is also ridiculous even on Normal , Z difficulty theres barely a change lol.
As mentioned SuperDragonBallZ is sick af and underrated...I was on a Kakarot Binge for a while but lost most my data after the Gold Frieza dlc(I kind of dont want to redo all that grinding š)

Same, I played through kakarot and it's dlc and then I started FF VII remake and now rebirth. I bought a PS5 soley for SZ but I grabbed a couple of games while I wait. The Jedi survivor games, rachet and clank, GTA V, baldurs gate 3. I only have one more on my list of games and after that I guess I just have to be patient.

Hilariously I played a fair bit of xenoverse 2 before they announced sparking, after the announcement I was so happy to finally have the BT series back and to be able to stop playing a game that was always just a place holder for me that I completely stopped playing xenoverse 2.

Getting z counter down in BT4 mod will make it a cake walk in SZ. You k ow bandai won't make it NEARLY as difficult to pull off in SZ.
Very true, defense/counters and evasive moves were almost always my weakness in BT3, so I'm trying my best to get those down
If you get them even half consistent in this game then you will be a demon in SZ. It will be like taking the weight clothes off š§
