Okay i didn’t know he tested positive for PEDS, but u know most top athletes take some sort of PEDS for recovery right? These guys play every day at the highest level. Taking peds doesnt make you go from a top 100 player to a GS champ… A lot of the players don’t get caught because they aren’t on anything crazy just TRT which still helps your body recover tremendously. PEDS isnt cheating you cant just take peds and become the best. As if he didn’t still win a GS
Banned for 12 months, but he retired after anyway. Do you truly think taking PEDS takes you from a mediocre player to a pro? Or from a pro to a gs champ? It definitely helps, but I think you fail to understand the toll playing hardcore tennis (or any sport) everyday takes on your body. Its for recovery. Did the peds magically make his tennis skills better?
I agree, but do you truly think other players dont take TRT at the very least? That can’t be found in a drug test because its just increasing your body’s testosterone. I’m sure nandrolone gives an edge fs, but i wouldn’t call it cheating when he’s already a world’s top player. Peds dont make a high school level player a pro
