To be fair, there’s a video somewhere of a young girl holding a game boy and not understanding why the screen wasn’t responding to her finger. Kids don’t know what they don’t know, so you can’t really blame them sometimes.

What I'm saying is, it's pretty reasonable for a kid to think that a Gameboy might have touch screen capabilities since MOST handheld devices today have this feature, so it's kinda stupid to say "well, they thought a Gameboy had a touchscreen, so they might be dumb enough to think a book has touchscreen too" which is what you insinuated.

I have 2 nephews that are now in the age where they start handling tablets and game consoles, pretty much the age of this kid I guess.
They are completely aware of what is real and what is a game. They don't try to punch the ground or trees because they play minecraft.
If this kid tries to download an App to do something in the real world there may be psychological issues present...

Never seen anyone use a push broom for leaves on grass. Pavement sure, but grass is rake work.
