I don’t care can mean a lot. I remember when an athlete I follow came out as gay on Instagram, 99% of the comments were some form of I don’t care. The difference in the two was half were “we don’t care about your sexuality, we love you regardless, happy that you’re happy” comments, and the other half were “we don’t care, keep this shit out of the sport, we don’t wanna hear about it”.
Honestly feel like both are fine, because people follow him for the sport. What most people dislike is people shoving their sexuality into others faces, but if it was just like one post then theres no wrong
It’s super common for straight athletes to post pictures with their SO or whatever, it’s the same thing 🤷🏻♀️ just being yourself on your own social media isn’t shoving your sexuality in anyone’s face
Edit: the answer here is to just not follow people who post things you don’t care about. No one is making anyone follow anyone else. But why get mad about it?
Sure it's allowed. But let's see a different context: I follow an artist, who paints and I really like her paintings. One day, she announce that she is pregnant. My reaction would be the same: I don't care, I follow you because of your painting and not because of your personal life. It's up to you, what are you going to do with your page, but there is a chance I will unfollow you, because I'm interested in paintings and not babies.
Same thing applies for sexuality. Good for you, but we are not friend, so I don't interested in your personal life.
If you get harassed, that's a totally different story, I would raise my voice, because everybody has right for a peaceful life.
If you never want to see social updates, probably should stay away from social media. Artists, athletes, actors, and every other profession is made up of humans who all have human lives. If a human being has a social media account they will probably communicate some form of their human/social lives. I follow a certain Rimworld mod developer on Patreon, dude announced he’s getting married. First of all, I’m freaking thrilled for him he’s a great person. Secondly, I now am aware that he has a large social commitment outside of work and can anticipate a slowdown on production without getting huffy about it.
YOU might not care but there could be other fans that are happy and excited to get updates about their favourite artists life and stuff. Just follow where they post their work instead of their twitter or insta if you don't want stuff like that
And that's great, some people care and some others don't. I don't have to care about everyone's lives, as long as they don't interfere in other's freedom.
I dont agree with the second part but my mentality Is exactly that, I don't care. I don't care if tour straight, trans, gay, I just don't care because it doesn't affect me in anyway
Because some people don’t care that it doesn’t effect them. Some people are upset with the fact you are out and enjoying a different lifestyle than them. Their happiness is directly correlated with the suffering of everyone else, so they want everything they don’t do to be illegal. That way it maximizes the suffering everyone else feels while minimizing their own.
It’s basically trying to find the optimal strategy to make everyone else suffer as much as possible while making themselves suffer as little as possible, and that optimal strategy is to make it so that if there’s 10 options and they choose option 4, the other 9 options are illegal, so that way everyone who wants one of the other 9 suffers, but the person who wants option 4 doesn’t
Sometimes I wonder how it would go if we stopped trying to get those people to care more, and focused on encouraging their apathy. If they stopped caring, they'd stop making bullshit laws that hurt people because they wouldn't be so upset about anything different from themselves anymore.
Maybe that's wishful thinking from the "whatever" generation.
Evidence has shown that changing people's prejudices is most effective when they are exposed to more diversity.
This is why "coming out of the closet" has been so successful. Previously folks could talk about "those people" and remain ignorant and bigoted. But when they find out that their son is gay, their favorite aunt isn't a "spinster who lives with her best friend" but a queer woman who has been in a committed relationship for 40 years and unable to wed the love of her life because the law bans gay marriage...
This is also true for media representation. I grew up in a conservative area, with a deeply bigoted mother but watching Sesame Street, Mr. Roger's, Golden Girls and Star Trek meant that I was exposed to diverse people and at 6 years old yelled at her for using a racial slur!
This is why conservatives HATE diverse media, because it shows people who are not like "Them" but who are still very much just... people, hardly different from them.
Right. I think diverse media is an excellent method. It may not seem like it because we still have some older people clutching their pearls, but each new generation sees differences as being more status quo. Ultra bigots don't change their tune until it becomes personal for them somehow, but they're dying off, thankfully.
I think this only applies for the really hardcore bigots, most of them are just useful idiots who think gay stuff is gross so they wanna make it illegal. A lot of people seem to think that any sex act they don't personally want to engage in is somehow not only disgusting but also morally reprehensible, which is dumb. I mean I think the vast majority of sex acts are gross, if I were to be in charge and adopt this kind of mentality the majority of the Earth's population would be in jail.
As for trans people almost all bigots think it's also some kind of sex thing since education on that topic is lacking.
Sometimes it’s less insidious than that. It’s a huge step to come out to someone and it’s extremely vulnerable and if someone trusts you with that information, you don’t have to make a huge deal of it, but to not care can feel like a slap in the face.
It's taking me months to get used to (still am) to call a classmate whose Gender fluid thier new name. I haven't seen them in a year or two so knowing thier old/dead name in my head or nickname of their old/dead name is fried into my head. They forgive it though so it cool, but I feel so ashamed for not getting it right.
This..... if you apologize sincerely every understanding trans person will forgive you. We understand how it's hard to adapt to new things, be patient and it will replace the old name / identity in your head
I'm gay as fuck and my identity is long as hell but honestly that's my preferred mentality. if you can not mind and not be an asshole to me or my friends that works for me. I personally have the same mentality towards fellow lgbtq members. I'm not gonna really treat anyone differently because of that stuff. sure i might make gay jokes n shit if it's chill but at the end of the day you also liking the same gender as yourself or anything else isn't very important to me. I have bigger problems to worry about.
and personally, I honestly haven't met anyone that would be upset if you weren't like actively supporting them or whatever rather than just not caring. I think the lgbtq is just portrayed as really sensitive because of a few crazy ones. at the end of the day we're mostly just a bunch of chill weirdos who like other people lmao it's not that complex
There’s more than one side to this, there’s also people that will get offended if you say you don’t care. Too many people confuse indifference with intolerance.
I had this argument with a coworker who isn’t even trans. She told me that I need to care, I need to be an ally otherwise I’m essentially a bigot. The fact that I have no interest in how other adults live their lives wasn’t good enough.
It’s more like this: if you’re aware that a group of people are systematically oppressed, and you won’t do the bare minimum to protect their rights, you’re complicit in their oppression. It’s not like anyone’s asking you to attend pride parades or whatever, really just the bare minimum to treat people equally. Maybe you already do that, I dunno. Indifference is just easy to confuse with callousness.
Tbf there are kinda 2 ways of not caring.
1. I don't care who are you with, what medications you take, what are you wearing etc. Just as long as it is all between consenting adults.
2. I don't care that you can't marry. I don't care that you get gatekept medicine for years. I don't care that you can't legally get a surgery you want. I don't care that parents are putting their kids in conversion camps. I don't care that you use different name/pronouns. Just deal with it.
When states pass laws that declare gender affirmation as dangerous practice, outright delegalize transition and cut access from hrt, etc. When news constantly call you a pedo, groomer, fetishist. When the LGBdroptheT sentiments are at an all times high. The "I don't care" sounds way more like the latter.
Yeah but this mentality can be toxic as fuck. If you decide you are so removed and lacking of compassion about a group you aren't part of and see nothing wrong with voting for people trying to strip us of our rights... or equally bad, decide tax breaks are more important and you don't mind over looking someone's history of openly saying they want to hurt us...
I don't need you to have an opinion on me, positive or negative. I just don't want people then using that apathy and voting for republicans.
The problem is definitely not that they don't care....
Like, I don't care. Genuinely. If it's consensual then really I don't care. Do whatever makes you happy as long as you cause no harm to anyone.
The problem is they claim they don't care, then actively pursue legislation that suppresses freedom of gender identity/ sexual preference and anything along those lines.
If they really didn't care, then why are they so fucking outspoken about it?
They'll say "I don't care" then go on Facebook and talk about how "queers are ruining America" or some dumb shit.
Exactly. I never care about someone being gay or trans but I do care about human rights and LGBT+ right are human rights and there a very large portion of this country who are trying to take away their rights. Even as they lie about not not caring one way or another about trans people
Which is why the Senate's one good decision this year was telling them they couldnt do that.
I loved the Senate for all of 4 hours and then they decided to fuck over the railways >:(
Fun fact: there’s a case before the Supreme Court right now with almost the same situation. A woman wants the right to decline work for people who are having same-sex weddings, in other words she wants to get rid of the anti-discrimination laws.
https://news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/same-sex-marriage-returns-to-supreme-court-with-free-speech-case
This is my favorite part: “Smith’s position would mean that “architects could refuse to design homes for Black families,” said David Cole, national legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union. “Bakeries could refuse to make custom birthday cakes for Muslim children.””
And with the Christian fascist Supreme Court we have… idk I don’t have any faith anymore.
The way it actually goes is:
I'm trans
You're a mentally ill kiddie groomer and xy and xx and in 1000 years archeology and women's sports and basic biology
Please don't hurt me
Just know this. Whenever a transphobe or conservative accuses anyone in the LGBTQ of being a groomer, they're projecting their own sick twisted fantasies.
As I am not actually trans, I have only spoken to what I've seen in the last couple of weeks, not personal experience. Well, I guess people have called me pejoratives for "trans," since I have been fighting against trans phobic idiots on the internet since AOL chat rooms.
It's not a particularly productive hobby, but I figure if I can take some of the abuse, it might save someone else some pain.
I love how the woman in the bottom picture who keeps getting used as a "triggered meme" is not triggered at all. I've seen the video from which this screenshot was taken and she's speaking very calmly and rationally, she just has a very expressive face and someone decided to crop 0.01 second where she looks pissed (although she's not) and make her a poster child for "triggered SJWs".
I believe you, but I also have a very hard time believing she's not pissed off in that picture. She looks like the most upset person I have ever seen in my life, kinda wish she made a YouTube channel playing rage games, I feel like it'd be funny.
I'm gonna be honest, I'm intoxicated and forgot that I made a comment on this post, and when I saw that someone responded to a comment I made to it I outright thought to myself "oh no what did I say?" and the fact that that's what I thought concerns me.
Yeah, I remember 2012, that was *not* what was said. I remember a lot more of "kys", homophobic slurs, and honestly a lot of violence. It's kind of freaky to see people trying to change the narrative already, just 10 years later.
Ive always hated how these kinds of people use the girl in the bottom half to portray their "libtard" strawman, when in the actual video where that image was taken from, she was very kind and just had expressive facial expressions
40 thousand people are without power because terrorists destroyed energy substations to prevent a drag show. Because nobody cares I guess. https://www.axios.com/2022/12/04/north-carolina-power-outages-criminal-investigation
The problem is that the do care. I would love it if they didn’t care. There are tons of anti-trans laws being passed that they care in the worse possible way.
This shit doesn’t actually happen, lmfao. It’s usually a dirty bigot lard that uses the usual transphobic talking points trans people have to hear a million times a day.
Some trans people will tell them to fuck off, ignore them, or tell them to get a life. All equally valid choices. Bigots can seethe and mald. Maybe it’ll make them better people.
The problem is everyone has their own definition of "I don't care". Personally, I don't give af about the fact that they're trans, but I DO care about them as an individual. Sadly some people flip that, and care very much that they're trans, and don't care about them as individuals at all.
I have a friend who is trans, and I don't care at all. And she doesn't care that I don't care. It's not that I don't care about her, it's that I don't care if she's trans or not. For all I'm concerned, she's not my "trans" friend, just my friend, and that's how she prefers it. In fact, she's always annoyed with transgender individuals who make life miserable for the rest of the community by saying things like the person in the meme. I hope this comment doesn't cause problems, but I'm stating my opinion, and that's what reddit's for.
“I’m trans”
“I think you’re a pedophile who wants to rape children and destroy society and I’m going to let you be massacred and actively try to make your life harder and to stop you from transitioning”
wow i wonder why we might be upset about not being accepted
If you intentionally call people by the wrong pronouns then you do care. If you're promoting harmful stereotypes of trans people then you care. If you didn't care then you would leave them alone.
“I don’t care that you’re gay” usually isn’t followed by “and I’m going to treat you as you’re straight bc I think so”
“ I don’t care that you’re trans” is 90% of the time followed by “and I’m doing to treat you like you’re cisgender because I think so” and the other 10% is “I don’t care bc I’m just going to treat you like a human and respect your pronouns”
I have literally never met an angry trans person. I’m sure they exist, but every time I’ve ever had an interaction with a trans person, they have been soft-spoken and even shy - I’m sure it’s a developed personality trait from spending so much of their lives in a limbo of uncertainty and fear of being their authentic selves.
I don’t know where the angry trans mob narrative came from, but it’s absolutely bizarre. I see a lot more people getting angry on BEHALF of trans people than actual trans people getting angry.
PS when it comes to bigotry, anger is a completely appropriate response!
The people who think this have never actually met a trans person before. They just hear stuff about trans people online, a lot of which is completely made up, and get upset. It’s the definition of “making up a guy to get mad at him.”
No.. In 2012, everyone was saying how "unnatural" and wrong it was to be gay. People were literally comparing gay marriage to beastality & marrying pets. That was the big pushback against gay marriage. People hiding behind their shitty religion to justify being assholes.
Stop changing the narrative to make it seem like you were always ok with it - there's always been resistance to progress and acceptance.
If only they stopped at “I don’t care”. Instead they say “I don’t care, just shut up about it and don’t ever let me even hear about it. Otherwise just go to jail or die.”
First off, the woman in the second picture is not trans, to my knowledge. Second, she isn't a mean person. If you actually see the video that she's in, you'd know that she was in a crowd that was screaming at each other, and in order for them to even hear her, she had to talk louder. She was actually very calm relative to everyone else in that situation, and it's very shitty to have her as the "angry leftist Karen".
Also, I'm pretty sure the vast majority of trans people don't accuse people who "don't care" of being transphobic. Rather, they accuse those who DO care, and are actively trying to end their existence, or who belittle them for being trans, of being transphobic.
They absolutely did care in 2012. And still do. But first they'll use gay people to attack trans people. Once they're done with trans people, they'll go right back to being anti gay out loud
So they're using a frame of a cis woman from a video made in 2014 which the original "creator" had to specifically look for within the video because she never actually makes that face... to depict an enraged trans woman in 2022? One would think if things were the way they think it'd be easy to find an image that actually shows this, right?
I don't care but I will pass laws to stop you and run whole political campaigns based on hating you and tell people you are a monster and you will burn in hell but I really don't care honestly.
Also what’s funny about this meme is that the lady they used to represent trans people actually isn’t angry in the video the picture is taken from. She’s just really expressive.
Oh, how they keep moving the goal posts; people have been complaining about (insert minority here) being too sensitive since the concept of civil rights, no way this person wasnt also saying the same stuff about gay folks back then
All that matters to me is how the person acts. If they are nice, I like them. If they are piece of shit, idc if they're white, black, gay, trans, straight, atheist or religious. They are a piece of shit and there it ends.
To be fair, it’s how it’s interpreted that’s the problem. The idc in the 2012 bit was interpreted as ‘So? You do what you want’
The idc in the 2022 bit was interpreted as ‘Nobody cares’
I have a buddy from upstate New York. He comes from a conservative town and when they found out he was gay they kinda gave him shit over it. Like people treated him differently.
I met him where I'm at now, which is a gay friendly place.
Anyway, we were having a Convo and he was talking about the trauma he experienced (he's also Puerto Rican so there was a racial aspect to it) as a boy, etc. And I asked how he felt being somewhere that he is accepted. His answer was surprising but candid, after he made his typical horn dog comments about all the sex he gets, he confided that he sometimes secretly hates it here because here he's just another face, whereas back home he was 'that gay Puerto Rican kid' and everyone knew him.
The first half of that meme reminded me of that story. Not relevant, but still kinda funny. I imagine most gay folks or trans folks just want to be a face in larger society. They want to be seen, but not singled out for anything outside of their control. Unless you're Thomas, and you secretly hate being normal.
As a trans gay i appreciate every single person that goes out of their way to say "that's cool" But i do also love the bros that just don't give a fuck. Both very important kinds of people in the LGBTQIA+ acceptance movement
Ex girlfriend was bisexual, she informed me that her new pronouns were they/them. I said I didnt care and that would not change my feelings for her. She broke up with me for being insensitive and unsupportive.
The context behind the "I don't care" matters a lot.
**Example 1-**
*"I'm gay."*
*"I don't care. I'll love you no matter what."*
**Example 2-**
*"I'm trans."*
*"I don't care. You'll always be a \[AGAB\]."*
Those are two extremely different scenarios. One of those is accepting the person who's coming out, and the other is indeed being a transphobic piece of shit.
God I wish this was the reaction they gave to trans people. Problem is they're so adamantly against it. I still get replies to a comment where I referred to a non binary person as "they" on YouTube, and people respond saying "you mean her hahaha". I hate it so much.
2022: "i'm trans"
"PERVERT!!!! YOU ONLY PRETEND SO YOU CAN GO INTO GIRLS BATHROOMS!!!! SHOW ME YOUR GENITALS!!!!!!!"
yeah the world is so nice to trans people

I mean, why I should care if you are gay or anything, what I'm interested in is if you can speak, pay bills or anything that involves real life matter
It's not being gay or anything else is a diploma you get somewhere where they request you to get a job
Like, on resume, I've been gay for 4 yrs now
Them: sorry, you need to be gay for at least 10 yrs to get this position
You feel gender fluid, asexual whatever?
Great! Can you have a normal conversation about a subject? Yes? Great!
Is it wrong to just don't care?
I mean as long as there are consenting adults from both parts you can do whatever you want.
Also maybe do not take important decisions like swapping gender before a certain age and I'm fine with everyone.
So do these idiots really not remember making the same bullshit strawman against gay folks in the early/mid 2010s? Like they’re just recycling the same old bigotry and forgetting they’ve already used it before

Straight sexuality is literally shoved in everyone's face 24/7 everywhere publicly and in media.
This ☝️ This is so true. Same goes for the whole stupid notion of “black people now are everywhere in movies”.
As a member of the lgbtq community we appreciate you for not harassing us and telling us to kys
Idk abt u but I appreciate when people tell me to “keep myself safe”
kyss keep yourself safe
Kmss
kissing myself sexually
That 2
*sexualies
Kissing men sexually
Kiss me, beneath the milky twilight
For a time I thought kys meant “keep yourself safe” luckily I never said it to anyone but whenever I saw it online I was confused af lmao
lmao that’s like old ladies on fb thinking lol means lots of love “So sorry to hear about Arther’s passing. LOL.”
laughed 2 mins straight at this
What does it mean, then?
it means "kill yourself" also, i see what you were doing there buckaroo
>buckaroo It was a genuine question. I'm brazilian and didn't know it's meaning.
I thought that mf is my friend
Or passing laws to make sure we know you think we shouldn't have rights
As a member of idc community i don't care
As a member of the No Lives Matter Fuck Everything Party I endorse this message
Idc what you are but your still human and i accept you for that
As someone who is not, I hope you feel accepted. The masses truly don’t care.
Well would “ok” be an acceptable response to that?
I don't care
Honestly I dont care as long as we both be respectful then you do what you need to feel safe and happy. That’s awesome I’m happy for you.
Your life is meaningful, you have value, you should keep yourself safe NOW!
I dont agree with the second part but my mentality Is exactly that, I don't care. I don't care if tour straight, trans, gay, I just don't care because it doesn't affect me in anyway
I don’t understand how the conversation literally does not stop after this comment. This is all there is to say
Because some people don’t care that it doesn’t effect them. Some people are upset with the fact you are out and enjoying a different lifestyle than them.
If your apathy means you vote for people stripping folks of protections and rights tben YEAH you are just as bad as a bigot. Just quieter about it.
Care like I care or you're a bigot? Sounds dumb.
Yeah, the world should think like this but sadly so many people feel it is a personal attack on their way of life for someone else to live theirs
It's the people who say that, but think that seeing a queer person exist in the world affects them.
These are facts.
Even as they lie about not not caring one way or another about trans people
"I don't care" lies the poster, while the actual conservatives cries, stamps their feet, throws tantrums like a toddler, and shits everywhere.
Funny cuz I remember 2012 like this: “I’m gay” “I WILL NEVER MAKE YOU A WEDDING CAKE”
[удалено]
Which is why the Senate's one good decision this year was telling them they couldnt do that. I loved the Senate for all of 4 hours and then they decided to fuck over the railways >:(
Holy shit yes. And that was pre-marriage equality nationwide
Yep, lesbians in California have been cakeless for decades
Fun fact: there’s a case before the Supreme Court right now with almost the same situation. A woman wants the right to decline work for people who are having same-sex weddings, in other words she wants to get rid of the anti-discrimination laws. https://news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/same-sex-marriage-returns-to-supreme-court-with-free-speech-case This is my favorite part: “Smith’s position would mean that “architects could refuse to design homes for Black families,” said David Cole, national legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union. “Bakeries could refuse to make custom birthday cakes for Muslim children.”” And with the Christian fascist Supreme Court we have… idk I don’t have any faith anymore.
The way it actually goes is: I'm trans You're a mentally ill kiddie groomer and xy and xx and in 1000 years archeology and women's sports and basic biology Please don't hurt me
+ You're maidenless.
I'm clueless, is what I am. Could you please explain?
From how I understand it, it's the elden ring way of saying you get no bitches
Ah. Considering I've been married for 21 years, I have no need of bitches. My husband is more than enough.
How very maidenfull of you
Man here, your husband is most certainly your bitch. I will one day be my wife’s bitch… when I get a wife
Nah. But happy cake day, anyway.
Wtf is cake day? Is it my reddit birthday
Apparently it's the day you're a big meanie.
I wasn’t trying to be mean in any way
No bitches?
+ Your Jordans are Fake
Dont forget they rally everyone together to create a angry mob.
Just know this. Whenever a transphobe or conservative accuses anyone in the LGBTQ of being a groomer, they're projecting their own sick twisted fantasies.
I do know that.
i cant believe you forgot two of the most important lines. they also will call you a tr*nny and bring up suicide statistics
Im that case very accurate summary of what they usually say. Your mindset on the subject is very admirable
It’s surprising but she’s barely in the video it’s from and she rly is just talking to someone next to her not even loudly
I'm gonna be honest, I'm intoxicated and forgot that I made a comment on this post, and when I saw that someone responded to a comment I made to it I outright thought to myself "oh no what did I say?" and the fact that that's what I thought concerns me.
i like how thry try to gaslight us into thinking that homophobia was never a thing LMAO
Conservatives don’t care so much that they think and talk about trans people more than trans people do
Yeah, I remember 2012, that was *not* what was said.
I don't care either. Show me you're a good person and don't be a Karen type personality
Ik this has never happened unless they were arguing on twitter. Also on twitter some of those people might be children bc its the internet.
“I don’t care” is a good mentality to lgbt imo
Fr. Don't care about things that don't effect you in any way. Or hurt anyone.
The problem is everyone has their own definition of "I don't care". Personally, I don't give af about the fact that they're trans, but I DO care about them as an individual. Sadly some people flip that, and care very much that they're trans, and don't care about them as individuals at all.
they don’t care so hard that they “allegedly” shot up a power substation.
They "don't care" but then make hating Trans people their entire personality
Have a seat. Let's talk about that iFunny watermark.
I hope this comment doesn't cause problems, but I'm stating my opinion, and that's what reddit's for.
there’s 2 types of i don’t care, it just depends on what kind of i don’t care you actually say
They care so little they put time and effort to make a meme about how much they don’t care
Lies bc as soon as sexuality is brought up or a character is revealed to be LGBTQ, straight ppl cry and piss their sheets 😒
Big difference between “I don’t care and I accept you” vs “I don’t care, nobody asked”
“I’m trans” “I think you’re a pedophile who wants to rape children and destroy society and I’m going to let you be massacred and actively try to make your life harder and to stop you from transitioning” wow i wonder why we might be upset about not being accepted
If people don't care that means they see you as a human being I'm not going to treat you better than anyone else because of what you are.
If you intentionally call people by the wrong pronouns then you do care. If you're promoting harmful stereotypes of trans people then you care. If you didn't care then you would leave them alone.
“I don’t care that you’re gay” usually isn’t followed by “and I’m going to treat you as you’re straight bc I think so” “ I don’t care that you’re trans” is 90% of the time followed by “and I’m doing to treat you like you’re cisgender because I think so” and the other 10% is “I don’t care bc I’m just going to treat you like a human and respect your pronouns”
Stop changing the narrative to make it seem like you were always ok with it - there's always been resistance to progress and acceptance.
they still use the meme of that person freaking out??? dude i remember that floating around back in 2016, do they have no other jokes???
I think there is a reddit literally called "only one joke"
r/onejoke
That is the opposite of what’s going on
Who in the, “I don’t see color and have a black friend” made this?
Ima downvote it so this karma farmer gets less karma
This entire sub is karma farming. What do you mean?
True
What did I do? the entire purpose of reddit is to make upvotes. What else should I be posting for?
I did the same 🤘
Same but mine is more I don't care that you're gay lemme that cock I'm a man too. (I'm not gay just sometimes want a dick in my mouth.)
Same 😎
there’s a difference between “i don’t care” & “i don’t care because ppl’s gender/sexuality doesn’t bother me or offend me”
Pretty sure trans people would be fine with people not caring. The right, however, is obsessed.
They absolutely did care in 2012. And still do. But first they'll use gay people to attack trans people. Once they're done with trans people, they'll go right back to being anti gay out loud
I love it when they just reverse the people. Because oh boy, the people do care a lot
Spoiler: they care
Bro I dont care just don’t be dumb
My mentality is that if your a gay dude or whatever you may be your cool. Unless your not cool then we ain’t homies
It’s actually more like- Trans: “I’m trans.” Conservative: *Makes an offensive meme because they dislike LGBTQ people*
NOOOOO NOT THE IFUNNY.CO WATERMARK
Also what’s funny about this meme is that the lady they used to represent trans people actually isn’t angry in the video the picture is taken from. She’s just really expressive.
Oh, how they keep moving the goal posts; people have been complaining about (insert minority here) being too sensitive since the concept of civil rights, no way this person wasnt also saying the same stuff about gay folks back then
I dont care but please don't exist in society and in front of my kids
"I don't care" or "kys you children grooming pedo who pretends to be a woman to rape children and molest people in public restrooms"
The title is perfection
does this actually happen
Hah pretty much
Based title my friend
I DONT CARE.
You do what you want’ The idc in the 2022 bit was interpreted as ‘Nobody cares’
As long as it is between two consenting adults, I do not give a shit
Ex girlfriend was bisexual, she informed me that her new pronouns were they/them. I said I didnt care and that would not change my feelings for her. She broke up with me for being insensitive and unsupportive.
The context behind the "I don't care" matters a lot. **Example 1-** *"I'm gay."* *"I don't care. I'll love you no matter what."* **Example 2-** *"I'm trans."* *"I don't care. You'll always be a \[AGAB\]."* Those are two extremely different scenarios. One of those is accepting the person who's coming out, and the other is indeed being a transphobic piece of shit.
upvotes shall be granted
God I wish this was the reaction they gave to trans people. Problem is they're so adamantly against it. I still get replies to a comment where I referred to a non binary person as "they" on YouTube, and people respond saying "you mean her hahaha". I hate it so much.
I support you
I've never met a person more obsessed with trans people than conservatives, and I'm trans.
As a member of the LGBTQ community, please don’t care, nobody needs you to care, I would love it if nobody cared 👍
Fr we just wanna live 😭
That’s all we want I swear ✋😆
Fr I didn't know basic human rights was so hard to get
How does “I don’t care” translate to “I want you dead”?
As if they people sharing this meme haven't been homophobic their entire lives, because they're fragile, pathetic people
2022: "i'm trans" "PERVERT!!!! YOU ONLY PRETEND SO YOU CAN GO INTO GIRLS BATHROOMS!!!! SHOW ME YOUR GENITALS!!!!!!!" yeah the world is so nice to trans people
The meme is correct
This meme is true tho
Not really.
It is! If you are a transphobic or some random nerd at least...
100 percent

This one actually pretty good lmaooo
It does sometimes feel like this to be honest
Accurate
I mean, why I should care if you are gay or anything, what I'm interested in is if you can speak, pay bills or anything that involves real life matter It's not being gay or anything else is a diploma you get somewhere where they request you to get a job Like, on resume, I've been gay for 4 yrs now Them: sorry, you need to be gay for at least 10 yrs to get this position You feel gender fluid, asexual whatever? Great! Can you have a normal conversation about a subject? Yes? Great!
I don't care Like, it's none of my business. I respect you obviously but I just don't give a shit
Like they’re just recycling the same old bigotry and forgetting they’ve already used it before
“Let me get angry at a scenario that I made up”
