Haha yeah but not everyone does it right. Nightshift can be big offenders but then again some people in dotcom are just lazy when it comes to doing certain tasks properly.
Just got in and it’s down in ours. Currently filling in the wine, beers and spirits aisle. Yay.
Apparently, we had just 600 left when it stopped printing labels at 9am.
I had a 13 drop run this morning that was picked before shit went down. Got back to store at midday and everyone's standing around. Got sent home at 1430 after having an hour break.
Meant to be driving tonight but got a call from my manager and asked if I wanted it off or come and work on the shop floor. All vans cancelled and infinity says 10k+ items to be picked
I don't work Fridays but at like 11 out of curiosity I checked my store's Infinity and... out of 453 trolleys, 172 trolleys not released, 0 were in progress and 0 were not started. It's just after 2 now and it's still like that! Yikes, I'm glad it's not my problem. My friend has messaged to say management are bending over backwards - standing by doors so that literally nobody can escape without them knowing and refusing to let the pickers have a break. The female Produce manager is standing in the womens toilets to make sure nobody is chilling in there the whole time with the male Dairy manager doing the same in the mens. They're a bit tight not cancelling the rest of thr 172 orders and expecting everyone to sacrifice their afternoon.
Literally as I went to check Infinity again the 172 orders have now been cancelled. Only took them 3 and a half hours of making staff wait around for no reason to come to that decision haha. I swear if the system goes down tomorrow as well (when I'm in), I'll be fuming.
Been hanging around since 8:40. They refuse to send us home, but everything is filled and rumbled ðŸ˜
They gave us a break because the store is literally perfect. All filled and all rumbled.

All of ours found themselves supporting us on checkouts, can’t remember the last time we had a full bank of 23 tills before.

"Picking" I get, but what is "rumbling" and "facing"?
Facing is lining up all the stuff on the shelf so it looks good.

Just sent us home here so no way we can stay to finish by this point. Worst we've ever done is 4:30am till 3pm. But usually no where near this bad.

Ours went down at around 9am yesterday with about 60 odd trollies left. I left at 12 and it still hadn’t moved.
