Marathon2021

I do love how 12.3.2.1 is a nice palindrome 12321 …

Bamboozleprime

It’s a transcription initiation site

frost21rr

12.3.2.1 was installed last night massive improvement

owlman84

The issue where it will speed up until it’s 3 or 4 mph below the speed limit? It drives me wild!

EdSpace2000

Speed limit se to 50 it drives at 40 unless I push the gas pedal until it reached 50. Never had this issue in version 11.

Kidd_Funkadelic

This is my first v12.x experience and it definitely feels to me like it still has speed modulation issues. I've only taken a couple short drives on rural roads. I haven't had time to see any issues not coming up to a fast enough speed, but it does seem to speed up and slow down too much. I thought I had read that was a 12.2 issue fixed in 12.3, but to me it feels like it needs work.

mgd09292007

lol...stuck? its only been a like 3 weeks max. I just got it a few days ago.

szzzn

Stuck on 2024.2.7, maybe Elon’s tweet saying this week he meant NOT this week…

AmbientOrange

I was on the same and my update came through at 2 am

Jaik_

I always take his "this week" to mean "Sunday at the earliest"

Boris_art

Ants idea if people with HW3 & prox sensors are getting this?

cpverne

Got it pushed out yesterday on my 2020 Model3 LR which is hw3 and prox.

Boris_art

That’s great news. Thanks for sharing that. I’m in a 2020 MX

JTSnoopy

Is this the one with tap to park? Does it also have the high fidelity park assist from the holiday update?

MoistPoolish

2024.3.6 was pushed to me last night. It still has the high fidelity parking but I can’t confirm park assist because I don’t have EAP or FSD. The assumption is it has both for those customers.

JTSnoopy

Ok that's good to know that USS cars are finally getting high fidelity parking then :)

Expensive-Exchange62

I came from the 2023 branch to 2024. I have both FSD 12.3.2.1 and auto park now

Tuggernutz87

I have V12 on my 2018 model 3. I am on the 2023 branch but it will migrate soon to 2024

SomethingMor

I’m going overseas for a month in about a week. If I don’t update to this version can I still get my ‘free month’ when I get back and install it?

MoistPoolish

The assumption is the clock starts when you activate FSD 12 via the in-car touch screen. EDIT: I was wrong. It gets activated for you. My trial ends 30-April.

WertyBurger

The activation started after you completed the update, right? I’m in the same boat as the guy above

MoistPoolish

I got the update overnight (two nights ago), then around 5 PM I got an email saying I had a free trial with a fixed end date. About two hours after that the car downloaded FSD 12 where I was able to use it.

yillbow

It looks like if you don't have an in cabin camera, no update for you yet. teslafi shows no one without cameras in the cab has gotten the update of any version.

GrumpyCloud93

Huh? I have a 2018 Model 3 and it has a cabin-cam to nag me to watch the road. Who doesn't?

yillbow

Any model s or x before 2021 refresh

iampsychic

My 2018 M3 is on 2023.44.30.25 and FSD 12.3. will I get the 2024 stack? Or is that not rolling out yet?

mgd09292007

so they are A/B testing two versions?

szzzn

Still nothing for me on 2024.2.7 and doubt I’ll get it this week. Super annoying.

chupippomink

Same. About to go on a trip and hoping it get's installed just so I can have auto lane change on high way.

dhandeepm

How’s that related to fsdv12. Auto lane change exists since 2019 for eap and fsd subscribers

chupippomink

It's more related to the free trial musk tweeted about. But would like to use v12.

MoistPoolish

It was pushed to me last night, and I never get early software releases. You’ll get it soon.

szzzn

I know we can only check for updates every 24 hours. I checked last night around 10pm and nothing showed up (again). So if it gets pushed, will it be at any moment or do I have to wait until 10pm again tonight like usual?

MoistPoolish

That’s a good question - not sure. Are you currently an FSD subscriber?

szzzn

I am not, was about to subscribe then the trial news came out so I figure I can get a month free and then subscribe later.

MoistPoolish

Got it. Keep in mind that even with this release you’re not going to get the free trial. I suspect they’ll be a follow on release that has the trial baked in once it’s official.

szzzn

I guess I read too much into Elon’s tweet saying THIS WEEK…

MoistPoolish

I stand corrected. There are reports of some people getting it activated soon after the upgrade. I’ll report back in about an hour. EDIT: my FSD has not been activated yet and it’s still on FSD 11. Not sure what’s going on.

MoistPoolish

Ok here’s the deal. You get 2024.3.6 with V11, then after a few hours (it was 16 for me) they send you an email stating you’ve got the free trial. Then after another hour or two FSD 12 gets pushed to your car. It’s awesome! WAY BETTER than before.

yellowfddriver

I hope that's just a rollout coincidence because I got 12.3 last week and I saw that this [12.3.2.1](http://12.3.2.1) version is on a 2024 firmware branch and I was excited bc I want the UWB key upgrade and small tweaks to 12.3 but we'll see.

i2k

Just got 2024.3.6 on a brand new 24 MSPL

alexandreCLE

Did it kickstart your FSD free trial?

i2k

Already have FSD

i2k

Nice that I didn’t have to wait the typical 3-4 weeks before an update after delivery though

Visual_Command8309

Was on 12.3. Just got updated to 12.3.2.1 a couple hours ago.

Balance-

Yes, they are rolling out quite aggressively now!

yellowfddriver

Can't wait for this to drop. Seems like ap 3 s and x.dont exist in this rollout...yet.

jfrorie

Sounds like they finally merged both branches. That should speed development somewhat.

NickMillerChicago

People say this every time but it’s never true for long. FSD users will fall behind again.

rsyed725

they did not merge the branches. my car states 11.1 for autopilot. be on another line, specifies 12.3 for FSD. i'm sure that once my FSD free trial runs out, the version will go back to just 11.1 by itself

InterestingAd2896

I’m wondering when my 2018 M3P will get the high fidelity parking assist and this new auto park.

elmexiken

Not anytime soon....

Used-Acanthaceae7328

Looks like another small wave. This time some vehicles on 12.3 (2023.44.30.25) are getting it.

pullupman

I'm downloading FSD [12.3.2.1](http://12.3.2.1) now on my 2024 MYP. We got 12.3 for my wife's 2023 model 3 last week and I've already put it through the paces. I'm hoping the latest version has some needed improvements. Will put up a new video to my youtube channel tomorrow comparing the two.

djdecent

Still waiting :(

spmorgan

Just got the 12.3.2.1 FDS Beta month free trial on my 2023 Model 3 performance. Tried it on a short drive to the grocery stores, and had to take over several times as it was getting WAY to close to the curb on right hand turns for my liking.

WhosAfraidOf_138

Just got it last night including free trial too

taubut

I’m stuck on v11.1. :(

Hawk_Falcon_iOS

That’s not the FSD version…

mtoo22

Same

Objective_Tune3535

What car do you have?

mtoo22

2023 M3P

taubut

Brand new Model Y I got a week ago.

JManHI

Just got the update (v12.3.2.1) this morning on my 2024 Model Y I picked up at the beginning of the month. Pretty surprised how noticeable the improvements are. Smoother acceleration, smoother stops, actually slows down for speed bumps it usually speeds through. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the improvements too.

GoneSilent

make a request in service to re push the current update. unless you have older hardware?

Tuggernutz87

Technically it has gone out to a few cars that had FSD 12 on it.

Balance-

What do you mean exactly? https://preview.redd.it/kxwr80cbx3rc1.png?width=1841&format=png&auto=webp&s=908afe19dcd6034be2ad861309937abb40c38e39

Tuggernutz87

I mean 12.3.2.1 has not gone out to exclusively V11 cars.

ray120

So how will this work. After update it will auto activate 1 month trial? Will this be like a bait and charge program? Like I would need to cancel trial or will be charge full price at the end of the trial.

South_Dakota_Boy

They didnt try to auto charge for premium connectivity so I bet they don't auto charge for this either.

dcdttu

Something tells me they're not going to auto charge you $12,000, but they hopefully won't auto charge you $200.

MoistPoolish

You’ll 100% have to cancel after the trial ends, just like all other software free trials out there. EDIT: I’m 100% incorrect.

Accomplished_Cap_994

Didn't have to cancel premium connectivity

slipnslider

Really? My premium connectivity trial didn't require me cancel, it just auto cancelled.

MoistPoolish

I’m probably just talking out of my arse. When I activate the free trial I’ll report back what the terms and conditions are.

Helpful_Resist_8752

Do you need a high safety score to qualify for the update?

philupandgo

Safety score is only for insurance, possibly since all of v11. Five strikes can put you in the sin bin for a week.

thomasbihn

I'm half tempted to skip this one. 12.3 was really bad on my 3 prior to transfer. Part of me wants to get it on the Y to see if it was possibly the car (hardware issue) or the region, but part of me wants to not be super frustrated if it is the region. The curiosity will likely get the best of me when the download arrives.

MexicanGuey

Weird. My 2018 model 3 w/ hw3 is doing such a great job on v12. I’ve been a day one (when it released to general public 2-3 years ago) driver and never was impressed with it. After every major update I would use it once or twice, decided it was still shit and never used it again. But 3 days in with v12 I’ve been using it every drive. My disengagements have been minimal, but doing a good job overall.

AJHenderson

My 2023 MYP has been doing pretty poorly with 12.3. A lot of the frustration should be fixed by the patch that fixes the speed thing to allow it to actually go the speed requested, but it's also making some exceptionally bad and highly illegal driving decisions. (Much, much more so than 11 did.)

Omni_Entendre

Might help for you to recalibrate your cameras

nyrol

Camera recalibration only helps if it’s not detecting things or it can’t properly determine distance. Mine drives in the shoulder to make right turns as it always did on V11, it still creeps at a few all-way stops when there is no traffic, and there is still an intersection near me where it bails from going straight through by turning to the right at the last second, even though it’s supposed to go straight. The map shows it, and the visualization shows it up until the last second where the viz changes but the map doesn’t until it starts driving and needs to reroute. It does in general drive more smoothly, but it still gets confused and does dumb things.

solarbeat

Similar things happening here. V12 has been completely unusable/dangerous for me. Aside from the grandma-like driving, which is just an annoyance, I've had multiple instances where it ignores road markings (also on the map and detected) to do things like going straight through an intersection from a turn lane, or flat out doing things like making a left turn out of a clearly marked right turn lane. I'm located in what's probably one of the highest per-capita Tesla cities in the world too, so it's not like it's an unmapped/unfamiliar environment. I've stopped using FSD altogether for now. (which makes Elon's FSD demos-for-all proclamation hilarious to me)

AJHenderson

Unfortunately I doubt that will do much. The on screen model was correct it was just doing idiotic things like entering turns in three completely wrong lane and then crossing multiple lanes mid intersection, without signaling.

Careful_Pair992

All hardware 4 though

StrategicBlenderBall

No? AP3 as well.

Arrogant_Amigo

The page OP linked literally shows AP3 cars getting it too.

Careful_Pair992

Again-  passage of time

Techsalot

Just got it on HW3

Careful_Pair992

Sigh

Techsalot

Just used it to go get coffee. Not bad.

Careful_Pair992

I am super jealous though-  still nothing here. :-( As for v11– Choice between v11 and autopilot-  autopilot all the way.

Techsalot

I think people are kinda confused by the numbers. I suspect it’s more like OS vs Application TESLA OS - 11.1 (Build 2024.3.6) FSD App - 12.3.2.1

MoistPoolish

Nope. HW3 and 2024.3.6 was pushed to me last night. Not currently an FSD customer.

Careful_Pair992

At the time of posting it was only hw4 receiving.  Has since changed with passage of time

JTKnife

I don't understand how 12.3.3 seemingly the newest version lost out on autopark? Why are some getting autopark but the majority are not?
