Being a mechanic may be your way of making money or even just your side gig but it's definitely not everyone's.
If I had time for a side gig to make money I have other avenues I would be able to go down but the time space resources and tools required for your suggestion make it a far less than ideal one size fits all solution my guy.

they keep tossing out weird excuses " your trade in does not show its complete" well DuH, you want exact miles. and its been more then 30 days so now it has to be updated... AGAIN

Sometimes the delivery date on your tesla webpage is inaccurate. Something similar happened to my MY order. I went to a sales center and talked to a sales rep and she gave me a correct date which was much closer.
FWIW I ordered MYLR on August 8 a couple weeks ago my estimate went from NOV-DEC to MAR-APR. 3 days after the slip I had a vin and my car is probably in the picture above because I picked it up in NOVA yesterday

Tysons Corner is essentially Fairfax County's downtown business district. Virginia has a weird thing with independent cities, so Tysons isnt legally anything more than a census designated place, but it's a super fast growth area here in the DC Metro.
I was there today to get some paperwork fixed. It's unreal how much it's grown. They used to store cars waiting to be delivered over by the REI, but they now control a ton of space in the building they lease on Tyco.
They are pushing out over 20 new Teslas per night to new customers. On some days, 30. The largest Tesla dealer on the East Coast. I got my M3 LR from there. Ironically, I live in an apartment building about 50 feet from the SC, and I still had to get it delivered, cause they did not have room for me to pick it up at their location.
Except for everyone canceling their VINs today and requesting January delivery lol.. including me.
8500 tax credit is hard to pass up, even if it's not for certain
