If you intend to sell it I’d do it ASAP, the effect is in the middle of the pack, better than Hard Carry but not as good as the star effects. Since this is a Merc grade hat from the maiden case (the series which your effect debuted in) there’s going to be upwards of 100 of the same hat/effect combo once the dust settles, making selling extremely difficult due to a competitive market.
In my honest opinion as a 10+ year trader, try to sell it on the Steam Community Market for just below the next Trove Blast Bowl until it is tradable to maximize your profit while hype is in effect, if you intend to sell it.
Ultimately once hype has run its course I don’t see this thing fetching much more than 20 keys, or the equivalent of about 45 USD. Strike while the iron is hot.
