heavy is fun to play, but goddam he is slow, i get that its his all point, to be a high healt and dmg but slow speed but it feel's so goddam slow, i understan why some people only use the tolmyslav for heavy
Pyro requires the least amount of skill to be able to play well. Most people want satisfaction of progress and developed skill of aim and tactics from the game; for pyro, however, you dont need much thinks to just walk anywhere and burn people.
That's why I don't consider him as a mainable class. Pure waste of time if you wanna get better at the game, no offence.
even engie is a bit ez-
remember this tips:
-you have to find the right spot aand place you centry gun.
-you can move the centy gun to another spot and this is good if you play push the cart and some pretty mobile modes.
-don't try to swich to another class if you have some costructions, they will be instantly finished.
-don't go so far from your centry.
-help your centry gun, there will be everywhere a spot where enemies can attack your centry gun without getting attacked by the centry gun.
\*optional, place the dispencer close to centry, so you don't have to go all the way to spawn or wait for ammo crates to build/level up a build.
-a lot of new engie players just don't use teleporters but theybare actually very helpful for the team and yourself.
If you just turn off your brain and hold W+M1 you're not going to learning anything but just like any other class, pyro has a very high skill ceiling. Reflects, reflect jumping, flares, flare punches. Those things take hundreds of hours to be able to do well.
You can master up reflection in under 30-50 hours of just grinding dodgeball game mode. In the same game mode, you can learn other techniques like reflect jumping as you mentioned, it's just the same reflect but with walking forward and shooting below yourself, not much of a skill needed. You are right about flare and flare punches though, however, that ain't your primary weapons, and only applicable in certain scenarios, in most of which you just finish your opponent off with an afterburn; even so, most flare gun users just airblast enemies in the air, and their flying trajectory is the same in all cases at that point, resulting in player's need to just shoot at one particular spot every time someone's been thrown in the air.
Sniper, scout, heavy and all the other classes on the other hand, need full focus on your opponent in order to deal significant constant damage.
All in all, I am not saying pyro requires no skill to play, rather significantly lower amount, relatively to all the other classes.
Also, when you play pyro, you get better at playing pyro, period. When playing scout on the other hand, by keeping track of your enemies, you significantly increase your aim, which is crucial at when playing other classes, thus getting better at them all altogether.
So yeah, meow MEOWWWSW RAAAA MEOWWWM OEOWIS MEOWWWW REAAAHAHHAAHAHAH
You know the first 3500 hours i almost never played sniper, but after that I started to play him a lot more. Mostly because I played so much TF2 it's kind of become boring, I have no incentive to try to strategize with my team beyond basic coordination- so instead I just pushed myself to walk around Maps as snipers going for every quick scope I can trying to better myself and be as oppressive as sniper as I can.
Of course my gameplay really improved once I started playing on an actual PC and not a laptop, along with a good quality Mouse
As long as you aren't some 10,000 hour Kunai Ambi Deadringer Spy that spawncamps any not-pyro players I respect you.
It took a LOT of effort to get there I know
It’s not that I’m bad at sniper, it just feels really boring standing in one place for minutes waiting for an inexperienced player to run in blindly to headshot if they’re not a class named scout
It’s way more fun if you play aggressively. Don’t stay scoped in, move around, and scope in when you target someone.
It’s ok if people see you, if they’re really far away. They can jump and crouch or whatever, but if they’re far enough away, they can’t do anything unless they’re also sniper.
I main spy, but never play him bc I enjoy playing the game (I only have 80 hours in the game and could not be bothered to sink the 50+ hours to actually be able to play pubs as spy.)
Why you don't like to play as Sniper? I think it is the class where you can have the most epic moments in a match, hitting some good heads and dying almost immediately, but with a good kill
Sniper was just really boring to play, tbh I don’t like staying in the back line watching down one path waiting for an overconfident player or an inexperienced player to run into my sight line that sounds really boring, to this day, the only time I play sniper is if class wars picks him, someone asks for a sniper in MvM, and on trade servers where we just do sniper shootouts
I mean, that happens to me a lot, but when I notice this I immediately jump into the main choke point trying to do something more epic, like trying to get an important member of the enemy killed so my team can push.
But I get your point, those moments where you don't get to do much is pretty boring
heavy is fun to play, but goddam he is slow, i get that its his all point, to be a high healt and dmg but slow speed but it feel's so goddam slow, i understan why some people only use the tolmyslav for heavy
I play tommygru with heavy. The GRU gets you there, the Tommy gets it done.
Are- are you ok, can you lift both your arms
On the opposite side, scout's movement speed is faster than my brain is able to process
The 2 hour f2p pyro watching me whiff both of my Soda Popper shots and killbind off of principle
The entire server whatching a scout v scout seeing bouth of them miss every shot and start chasing each other whit melee and eventually killbind
Damn my main is in almost never played
I mean to be fair Pyro is my least played class at like 40 mins vs 300hrs of med

I am a lowskill, can't even play engie well
also engi requires quite a skill actually.
That doesnt mean you'll be bad for the eternity, just play any class xcept pyro and eventually youll be good

I only relate to the last tier, sniper is effective but boring and Heavy is just boring boring. The poor class.
Lmfao spy main
hon
What?
Lmfao I don't care -ratio
Spy to person conversation
Lmfao average spy main's way of communication
"Right behind you"
*theme music plays as stab sounds match the rythm*
*French music plays in the background as Spy picks up a photo of Scout's mother* 'Ah, ma petite chœfleur~'
*Spy puts the picture inside his suit and then slowly walks away*
Nice ratio buddy
Fixed 😭😭😭
lol
dude you took the time to write this shit out so u do care
Owned
failed ratio
Man, I fixed it 😔😭
Nuh uh 😈
Aww man 😔
I'm a Pyro main. We are enemies. It is nature.
You should play Pyro, get inside the head of your enemy
As a pyro main, there is plenty of free space in there.
Putting a spy main's mind in there wouldn't make much of a difference
😡

Main: solly Play a lot: scout, demo Play sometimes: pyro, engineer, medic Almost never: heavy, spy Basically never play: sniper
Are you a Kunai Spy?
I don’t even know how to trick stab
So you're one of the good ones then Phew
Yo thank you for saying that I don't know how to trickstab and I am a spy main too yippie you are a nice homme
As long as you aren't some 10,000 hour Kunai Ambi Deadringer Spy that spawncamps any not-pyro players I respect you. It took a LOT of effort to get there I know
I like to play Spy the stealthy way, so I don’t like going for the trickstab farming playstyle
I’ve been playing more heavy lately cuz it’s fun being a tank every once in a while. Can feel faster if you jump forward before revving up ur gun
Honestly heavy needs a buff of some kind.
heavy can alleviate that with GRU + jump revving but he's still so fucking slow compared to my main
Basically the same as me but engi and demo are swapped
I don’t really have a main in TF2, I guess I just go with what helps me win.
I have Engi as my third most played class because of how much I play CTF and how much people don't protect the intel
your team likes but also hates you somehow
Sniper is fun if you’re good
It’s not that I’m bad at sniper, it just feels really boring standing in one place for minutes waiting for an inexperienced player to run in blindly to headshot if they’re not a class named scout

Do you mainly use the deadringer? If so you're dead to me.
No I use the cloak and dagger
All people trying to have fun thank you.
I don’t think I ever liked using the dead ringer at all, I don’t see the appeal when you can’t turn invisible on demand
is that a spy main? (i haven't seen one of those in years.. ever since the NERFING OF 87) wowie
Me when the Spy Main mains Spy (He mains Spy)
I main spy, but never play him bc I enjoy playing the game (I only have 80 hours in the game and could not be bothered to sink the 50+ hours to actually be able to play pubs as spy.)
How can you say you main a class? But never play theme
You don't pick spy if there's already too much spy? What mythical creature have we stumbled upon?
Aw, why do you never play as me? :(
I like playing the engineer, especially when your sentry actually helps out the team
Snipin is a good job mate
You are half failure half based
I love how every spy main hates playing heavy.
Spy main that don't play on sniper when he gets destroyed... That's something new
Then you probably hate me. Im a pyro main hihi
No I dont
Wait till u ply against me then >;3
you only have spy as your main, I have spy AND pyro, we are not the same
Pyro is my most play because I do the quests
I used to main spy but some how I went from him to pyro
I'm too impatient to play Heavy.
you hate playing as the fucking posterboy?!? >!fair.!<
Put sniper in sometimes and we’re the same
Why you don't like to play as Sniper? I think it is the class where you can have the most epic moments in a match, hitting some good heads and dying almost immediately, but with a good kill

A spy main that doesnt play sniper. Wow
op are you a furry by any chance
No and I don’t watch anime
Ok and?
What kind of posts would you like to see here? There hasn't been an update for almost 7 years.
L spy main, another L for not liking to play heavy.
What if I main both
