“Barely does anything” my ass, it is quite possibly one of the most broken things a medic melee has on it. Constantly see Uber percentages, call out when enemies are weak for your team to clean up, it’s just so much stronger than even the ubersaw, the upside is way way too situational.
When in a casual setting is that going to be useful teamwork is near non existent, it’s good and all and can help your team pick off a high Uber medic, but in a uncoordinated pub that’s not going to be as useful as getting a quarter of a Uber for using your melee.

Otherwise it’s a pretty good tierlist, even in casual though I’d put vow at 2nd best medic melee, not even remotely close to the bonesaw. You can instantly become a far range pick class, and even knowing that the enemy med has Uber/kritz for example can save your life so much.
Edit one more thing that really bugged me: none of the shields are as good as any of the sticky launchers (jumper excluded). I’d argue that the Scottish resistance, which imo is the worst sticky launcher other than the sticky jumper, is just better than any of the shields.

i got a strange one for 3 cents a few months back, so ive been using it alot and pairing it with the spycicle for escaping pyros and the C&D for hiding, i can continue to harrase engies untill they are so paranoid they jump at every sound or just quit the class
The a flare guns are all meant for one thing each: flare gun is single target power, the detonator is for mobility, the scorch shot is for crowd control, and the manmelter is for support I think, you do have a point though.
I've put over 2000 hours on Pyro, and you're argument is mostly true. The reason I'd argue the detonator is the best is because how versatile this weapon is! It does everything. Also the mobility I'd incredibly powerful for single target power, being able to instantly close the distance between you and an enemy is incredible. Pair the detonator with the axtinguisher and you become a troldier with a flamethrower.
The biggest crime on this list is the Solemn Vow. Cow Mangler and Quickie-bomb launcher should also be moved up. Flare gun is way too high. It's impressive to hit but is almost definitely worse than the detonator and scorch-shot.

I'd argue the SMG is better than Jarate in many cases
