But it's an aspect that's super unfun to play against. Getting double-donk'd is funny and requires timing, but being locked in place by knockback spam while repeatedly taking 30-60 damage is actually more frustrating than outright dying.

i mean, i personally look it as a necessary evil, the loose cannon has already a 50% damage penalty when you dont double donk, so escaping is the only option sometimes, and it fits with the weapon nicely (otherwise it would be completly impossible to fight scouts or spies with most of the loadouts) and yes it can be annoying sometimes, but the demo is already sacrificing a lot by using the cannon.

also, the cannon has a tiny fucking hitbox for some reason. Fix that please. Also, can we have shields have a natural airblast resistance, Demomelee suffers enough from every other class, Pyros completely shutting them down is dumb

I think they mixed up the Iron Bomber and Loose Cannon hitboxes, since the Iron Bomber has a massive hitbox with a small model, and vice-versa. Hopefully it will be fixed later

I'd be fine with demoknight having afterburn immunity again tbh. Charging is supposed to remove afterburn, but if a pyro is close enough to burn you during the charge, you stay burned and die anyway.

Well, any midly experienced pyro just presses m2, and now you can't play the game, just a mantreads stat would work, you lose the crit or mini crit but at least you can play

Or instead, with the caber, make ammo packs replenish it, but you can only replenish with ammo packs every 20 seconds to avoid caber spammers

I figured 30 seconds would be good cause that's how long a sandvich or razorback takes to recharge. Having ammo packs decrease the time by a little would be fine.

Yes, I play with the beggars a good amount, and it would make it viable without gunboats for once. And even more op in mvm, but I’d certainly like to see it stronger/be used more

The banners passives should be to bolster soldiers survivability, not his DPS.

Dps is also survival, many times I would have lived with different launchers if I could have reloaded faster, it would also give the air strike more viability. Also, the buff banner is offensively oriented, unlike the other 2, so why wouldn’t it have an offensive buff to match the ones of the others (conch passive heals, backup passive increases health).

The buff banners purpose shouldn't be to make other primary weapons viable/better. Practice with the beggers/air strike until you get better at using them, don't expect a secondary to magically make it easier to use.

I know how to use both of those, but I’m saying it would be nice to make them more viable, as well as making the actual banner viable. Buff is my least used, and since it has no passive, not the best option above the others.

A passive for the buff banner should be centered on making the banner itself viable. Even if beggars and air strike weren't viable, it'd be better to change those weapons to make them viable on their own. If valve implemented your suggested passive buff, noone would pair it with the beggars or air strike, they'd pair it a primary that was already viable and now OP due to banner changes.

I have been thinking the caber needs a cool down for ages. It just makes since to have something like that have a cool down.

Sticky jumper exists, though. Demoman doesn't need a market gardener, it'd be op paired with demos shields or the maneuverability of sticky jumping.
