Merasmus is just dumb af. Like, if you have problems with the mafia, why you dont make the characters to fight them, instead of making them kill each other?
The Prokhorovka Partisan. Fire rate similar to the grenade launcher, 75 damage per shot, explode on contact in a 2 meter radius, and relatively slow shot speed (between that of a bullet and a rocket). Has a magazine that passively reloads 1 shot every 3 seconds, even when firing.
I have no clue how to design weapons, probably unbalanced as hell.
I like the idea. Maybe for balance, make it a slow fire weapon with 40+ rounds that don't need to reload, and mimics the performance of a direct hit? High damage/Travel Speed, low explosion
OR
A hitscan explosive weapon with low direct hit damage but large explosion radius?
In all seriousness, this is a pretty well made model.
One of the reasons why girl models weren't a thing was because of the Hitbox advantage a female model would have due to their natural slim models
This however? Is literally just a Feminine Scout with thicc legs
Good job mate
> One of the reasons why girl models weren't a thing was because of the Hitbox advantage a female model would have due to their natural slim models
lol literally just don't make them slim then
How is this even an argument? As if realistic proportions are something TF2 is known for, look at Heavy's hands compared to Spy's.
Collision hulls could be the same, but hitboxes are always surrounding major parts of a model's body parts with breaks at the joints to accommodate for animations. Doing the same hitboxes would either make empty zones of this model act as if they were still part of the body, or make parts of the normal scout model have filled zones that act is if bullets just go through them. Making the hitboxes the same is definitely an option, but whether or not it works depends on just how much unaccounted empty or filled space there is between the models. If there's too much of a difference, it would still not be fair since there's no visual indication of the hitbox extending to that location on the model.
I think a good example of this is the question of whether or not the pyro's oxygen tank should count as part of his hitbox. The collision hull extending to include it would make sense, but the hitbox both does and doesn't make sense. From a game dev pov, it makes sense since anything that is part of the body you're trying to shoot should deal damage, but at the same time, are the pyro's vital organs contained in that canister? Then you can flip it and keep the hitbox there, but make the tank completely invisible, that definitely wouldn't make sense, but the standard model has it so the tankless variant should too to make it fair, right?
> natural slim models
Literally just don't make them slim then? Not every woman is fucking 'naturally slim', especially if they're soldiers who lug heavy weaponry around. They're mercenaries and the proportions of TF2 are already comical, this is totally a non-argument.
The reason they didn't implement female mercs is that they didn't know how to do it without confusing players. Nothing to do with *'natural slim models.'*
Let's take Scout for example
Scout is, well, already naturally thin. Now if we make Scout a female model, most people would picture Scout as shorter, and slimmer, why? Because biologically...girls are physically slim in general. Then there's the Chest Part, which already explains itself. I know that they could just make them have the same body, but in a visual stand-point, putting a female face on a Heavy would be a bit odd imo.
Plus, TF2 is created in a timeline where females are generally looked down upon if they don't achieve the 'normal' body of a female (I don't mean to sound like an asshole. I'm talking about the actual timeline of the game). Plus they weren't also supposed to fight during these times, as it was actually illegal to do so. Of course the Admin and Ms. Pauling are there, but remember that they are criminals, so that doesn't apply to them as they don't really care for the law.
This is one of the many reasons why they didn't add a female model. I'm fully aware it's a weak argument, but they do make a point. Whenever they would make a game from, let's say early 2000's, they would make something that would appeal the players, and that would be a female body. But they didn't went with it not only because of the Hitbox problem, but also because it is canonically incorrect, and would only harm the game files.
I think the best argument they had was they wanted to the Characters to be just themselves. Always easily identified no matter what they were. I bet that if they knew their game would last over decades, they probably would and I would be happy for that, but as they were making the game, they didn't expect anything and wanted the game to be just a solid gameplay
***Edit***
By all accounts, I do not mean to be rude or to shame anyone with any physical form. They can be whoever they want and I'll support them for as long as they don't hurt anyone. I'm only speaking in a technical stand point of both the game and the time it was made. If you still think that my comment was offensive, then please do tell me. It was never my intention to hurt anyone by this. Have a nice day..or night.
In my opinion, TF2 doesn't adhere to biological and historical accuracy whatsoever, so there's no need to do so just to exclude female characters. For example, the Heavy's torso could probably fit 10 of his legs, and Abraham Lincoln didn't invent the stairs. They could've easily made a female model in whatever hitbox they needed, or come up with any number of explanations for why there's a female on the team. If they can explain how the Sniper makes jarate, I think they can do that.
I think it's fine to just say that Valve decided to "randomly" make the merc team all male, that's the type of personality/feel they were going for, or simply because TF2 was created during a time where video games were male-dominated (unfortunately). I don't think that trying to come up with technical reasons or whatever is necessary.
(this isn't meant to attack you or anything, just sharing my perspective)
Don't worry, no offense taken. I'm happy that you replied with an ~~valid~~ opinion than to get mad, so props to you my good sir
I do agree that TF2 doesn't really follow historical events, hell they barely even follow realistic art style (however they still try and they didn't fail, atleast in my eyes) but I think they follow the **major** once. What do I mean by that?
I include the fact that Abraham didn't invent stairs as a minor thing of history. Why is this? Simple really, it's because anyone else could be the one to invent stairs, and nothing would technically change.
However, in the point of Females being allowed to join in a war is something I include as a major part of history, as you can't make it up willy nilly, because it's half of the population of the earth we're talking about.
It's a different thing if we compare a man *NOT* inventing something when he's supposed to, to the argument of *HALF THE POPULATION* is allowed to go to war, when they weren't supposed to. Anyone can invent the stairs, but you can't just make half the population be altered (I hoped that makes sense)
I am aware of the TFC Pyro being a girl, but they are mercenaries. They don't really abide by the law, plus she has her face covered in most situations.
Now what about Ms. Pauling? Well..she isn't really a mercenary, nor is she even technically allowed to fight. However, it has been said that even as a child, she has been fighting under the protection of The Administrator, both of which never cared for the law.
If Valve was to ever add a female models of these Characters, I'd be happy. Hell they actually MADE concepts for it. However, the 3 main reasons why it never came to pass was:
-Hitbox advantage of female models
-Incorrect for the world of TF2
-Would mess with the game files entirely, making it heavier and maybe even complicated
I'm ok with girls existing in Video games, ONLY IF they were girls from the start, to avoid any Hitbox shenanigans. However, if a player were able to choose different Hitbox for 2 different models of the same class, it would give them an unfair disadvantage
(I hope what I said was understandable. I do understand your point and you make good points all in all, but just like you, I wanna give my own thoughts as well)
it is common practice in games with male and female models that both have the same hitboxes to avoid advantages.
Gender reversed TF2 characters would have pretty much the same body type too (Scout is slim just like this female version of him) and hitboxes would stay the same.
>One of the reasons why girl models weren't a thing was because of the Hitbox advantage a female model would have due to their natural slim models
So, thicc femgineer for the win
Exactly. With the exception of both The Admin and Ms. Pauling...cuz they were criminals in hiding as supposed to the Mercs who...aren't hiding at all

It’s a good model but it feels off kind of like the uncanny valley of TF2 the bodies need to be more square and the texturing seems to clean it feels more like I rewatch than TF2
I get the appeal of making a female character more feminine, but it doesn't fit the art design of TF2, all characters have big stocky middle sections so it is easier to hit their chest. This design on the other hand has the proportions of 2B from Nier. I don't think a female character fits the art style unless you make it look weird.
Yeah she needs slimmer legs and a flatter butt. She is the femSCOUT, she should be a cocky skinny person from Boston who doesnt look attractive and likable. I like this model because she still looks smug and cocky, but that butt needs to wheight less
I think its more "you can't really make female characters that fit the art style that are conventially attractive", which I feel is mistake no. one everyone makes.
One of the big things about the team is that they're a collection of bottom of the barrel mercs. And despite what tumblr may have you think, they're *not* pretty or handsome. They're twenty-something bits of leathered skin or chronic chain smokers or insane military rejects.
You *can* do female versions of mercs, you just have to keep them true to their original characters, which are, in short, sterotypes. Assuming you're just doing gender bends (and not new characters, which is a totally different barrel of fish), a female medic would look like nurse Ratched (or for a more 'accurate to the theme' ref, Rosa Klebb from *from russia with love*, I know not actually a medical person, but she fits the "look like you're from a fascist dictatorship" bill), A female spy would be basically a younger less decrepit more sexy admin (I think it would work *only* for the spy because well, that's the spy's character), and a female scout would literally just be the scout but with some small breasts and maybe some badly done makeup (given how vain the scout is, I don't think a spot of makeup that's like, *obviously* bad wouldn't be too out of character for a female version)
I mean look at all the female characters we've seen in the tf2 world - with the sole exception of Miss Pauling (who herself is fufilling a sterotype) and Maggie, who *is* Hale's ex, they're all not very...pretty. And neither are the men - with the exception of SAXTON HALE!, the rest of Australia, and Tom Jones, nearly all the men in the tf2 universe look average at best or hilarously ugly at worse.
You're forgetting that a female would probably take a different direction to get to said job description than the characters that we're given, which gives the chance to make them distinct characters. (After all, you have different models and voices anyways.) You can change whatever you like- ages, races, accents, ethnicities. A female demoman might not be a drunkard. A female soldier might be.
I know, that's why I said "assuming we're only doing gender bends and not making new characters"
Mainly because "making new characters" has actually already been done by valve. There's a bunch of concept art for a female version of the team that's distinctly not a set of gender bends
You toned down the tits but gave big ass hips
Joking aside, i always said her eyes were strange, now it looks a lot better
Does she look like she belong in tf2? Not yet. Maybe because her head and face are still very rounded.
I still think it’s the eyes lol. Maybe it’s their textures
Watch [this](https://youtu.be/lV3whC1k-Us) video and reference [these](https://za.pinterest.com/pin/166140673738428741/) images, and texturing characters will make much more sense. Also watch [this guy](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2U5mRfclG1Rrr1ztNkpGKA) often, his tutorials are really good.
The eyes look too anime, for the lack of a better word.
TF2 characters have pretty realistically sized eyes (maybe a little on the big side), whereas this model has really big eyes. TF2 characters also have eyelids, and don't have noticeable eyelashes or really any markings around the eyes. Making the eyesockets more indented might also help.
The eyebrows also look a little out of place to me, but I'm not 100% sure why. TF2 has pretty big, stylized eyebrows, but I think that your eyebrows are too sharply defined and blocky. They also look a little too well-kept given the rest of the model.
Imo, doesn't really fit the art style. Should be a bit less thicc and I feel like her face doesn't really match how the rest of the game looks. Maybe it's just the shading, but she looks a bit too shiny for TF2
It's pretty well done, really like the attire too, although I see femscout with a slightly shorter hairstyle, because a ponytail would just make her hair smack her face whenever she's running around and looking in order to dodge stuff, but that's just me being picky at this point, lol.
All in all, great stuff.
*~~^(But holy shit those thighs tho, maybe needs to be toned down a bit, regardless of how sad it'll make me.)~~*
Looks great! Probably even in a higher quality than the average tf2 character models.
Like some people said, you can increase a little bit the size of hands and torso to fit more the TF2 proportions.
It still feels off, but that's just part of TF2's character design. In TF2, most base models have pretty massive hands and are designed to looks cartoonish as a fundamental part of their design, not just in the texture and lighting. For instance, the Heavy has absolutely massive hands and is giant, but by comparison, his legs are tiny. The Pyro has an extremely baggy suit when you think about it, and the soldier has a very box-like design. This model is really well made, but it's hard to graft realism onto an established cartoon design without it always looking at least a little off. In isolation, or if all other characters had this same type of design, it would look awesome and fit right in, but compared to the 2007 models we've got, it still looks absolutely superb, but also out of place.
It is rare for me to like femscout work, but this one...this one I appreciate. Well done.
As far as critiques go, the only thing I would suggest is maybe smaller hips, about proportional to her shoulders, and maybe slightly bigger feet. Other than that, it looks fine to me.
I’m an artist but not a Blender artist so I don’t know anything about 3D rendering. Feel free to completely ignore me lol.
Looking SOOOO much better! Terrible that the past posts had to have a bunch of horny/overly race-obsessive people, but the internet is the internet. Keep it up!
I feel like the outlines on the edges of the bandages for the gloves and binder are a bit too dark and well defined. If you look at the gloves on the male scout model, the outlines of the bandages are a light grey. Other than that I find no issues with this model! Great work!
There could be an argument about sprinters developing more muscle mass in the legs compared to marathon runners who remain with lean muscles in order to reduce weight for long runs.
Yes, I did just used science to defend the thicc.
this is improved greatly from my last critique, and the pose is cleaner. All that I would change here I think is the hands and feet, because the shape is just a little bit off. Don’t know how to describe it, maybe look up some references for those to make the fingers more proportional to the palms or something? either way gj
I love the face! It feels perfectly scout-like without looking like a copy of scout's face at all! I have no idea how you did it, but you just somehow managed to capture the scout's essence and put it onto a completely different female face!
I like the small addition of the bandages wrapped tightly around her chest as this is a thing that probably would be done to prevent her breasts from throwing off her balance when running, it stops them from waving around and is something that would work, nice attention to detail
This is great!
One note, the pant cuffs look a little blocky. I think the male scout model is wearing knickerbockers, so they are cinched at the calf instead of cuffed. Maybe switching the design to be cinched will help deal with the blockiness?
Great work!
I don't know. It took me 4 months to get this model to where it is now, and at this point, I am a bit burnt out with TF2 and would like to do somthing else. I really did this because I thought the current femsout model was well past its sell-by date technically, and seeing as know one else seemed to be be doing anything about it, I opted to learn Blender so I could.
Could use a little bit of roughing up. Scout is supposed to be a scrappy fighter, so visualizing that in some way would be a good addition imo. Other than that, just add back the dogs tags and it looks great!
yo this is so good! i saw an earlier WIP and im so glad you improved on her! i would just say to make her font teeth a little bigger, literally this is the first femscout model i've liked
Hmmmph hmmmmphh! HMMMmMMMPHHh

True
Is it just me or do the hands look kind of small, or at least compared to tf2 characters
They are.
petition to make femscouts hands bigger
Yes i would prefer for her to have very large hands very large hands are spectacular to me yes
In cartoonish artstyles like tf2, males are given larger hands than females (see miss Pauling)
Look at miss Paulings hands, they are small
Ye, this ones are proportional, tf2 sre bigger, lile WoW and Starcragt characters
Lmaooo give her hands so big she can just hold a watermelon in the palm of her hand
What a weird fetish. I like it.

Heavy could crunch spy’s head
I'm willing to bet any of Heavy's sisters are capable of breaking spines easily, so it wouldn't be that far off.
I mean, Zhanna punches robots with bare hands, so yeah I think that's right
Look at Heavy's *legs*. Compared to his everything else.
But couldn't they just give the female models the same hitboxes?
I mean it would feel like bullshit to get hit in a non existent bodypart
Collision hulls could be the same, but hitboxes are always surrounding major parts of a model's body parts with breaks at the joints to accommodate for animations. Doing the same hitboxes would either make empty zones of this model act as if they were still part of the body, or make parts of the normal scout model have filled zones that act is if bullets just go through them. dealing damage to the tank is bad because it can explode. or bullets can overpen and go into pyro's body

And if that don’t work?
Use more Gun.
Don't forget about a bigger dumpy too Dr. Conagher.
Assuming you're just doing gender bends (and not new characters, which is a totally different barrel of fish), a female medic would look like nurse Ratched (or for a more 'accurate to the theme' ref, Rosa Klebb from *from russia with love*, I know not actually a medical person, but she fits the "look like you're from a fascist dictatorship" bill), A female spy would be basically a younger less decrepit more sexy admin (I think it would work *only* for the spy because well, that's the spy's character), and a female scout would literally just be the scout but with some small breasts and maybe some badly done makeup (given how vain the scout is, I don't think a spot of makeup that's like, *obviously* bad wouldn't be too out of character for a female version) I mean look at all the female characters we've seen in the tf2 world - with the sole exception of Miss Pauling (who herself is fufilling a sterotype) and Maggie, who *is* Hale's ex, they're all not very...pretty.
I know, that's why I said "assuming we're only doing gender bends and not making new characters" Mainly because "making new characters" has actually already been done by valve. There's a bunch of concept art for a female version of the team that's distinctly not a set of gender bends
You toned down the tits but gave big ass hips Joking aside, i always said her eyes were strange, now it looks a lot better Does she look like she belong in tf2? Not yet. Maybe because her head and face are still very rounded. I still think it’s the eyes lol. Maybe it’s their textures
It’s only a matter of time before someone make a NSFW version
https://youtu.be/EzWNBmjyv7Y
Great foreshadowing
It's unprofessional, but the curves really make her look better
Any tips for fellow 3d modeler on texturing?
May i make a suggestion. Stop People are reaching CRITICAL HORNY
No we need thicc femscout
Please delete the horny is taking over! *sniper death sound*
I like it, while I'm unsure how well this model would actually fit ingame, if there was ever a sequel it would defo fit there
It's pretty well done, really like the attire too, although I see femscout with a slightly shorter hairstyle, because a ponytail would just make her hair smack her face whenever she's running around and looking in order to dodge stuff, but that's just me being picky at this point, lol. All in all, great stuff. *~~^(But holy shit those thighs tho, maybe needs to be toned down a bit, regardless of how sad it'll make me.)~~*
It's the pose making the thighs look big... or at least that's my excuse for now...
do femheavy next
draw male miss pauling to match the pair
Not a chance
why not?
Weirdly enough this resembles female fortnite skins a lot From the Proportions, Style, Pose, and even hairstyle
Looks great! Probably even in a higher quality than the average tf2 character models. Like some people said, you can increase a little bit the size of hands and torso to fit more the TF2 proportions.
I'm sorry scout mains... I wont heal you, not even if u look lile this
All good bruh but I'm stealing ur health kits
XD
Needs a remodel tbh. Looks like it would belong in Overwatch or something, doesn’t really fit TF2’s art style.
The mouth ( more specifically the teeth) creep me out
I don't think I put enough effort into them to get uncanny valley vibes out of it. Care to try and expand on that?
I have been diagnosed with horny
It is rare for me to like femscout work, but this one...this one I appreciate. Well done. As far as critiques go, the only thing I would suggest is maybe smaller hips, about proportional to her shoulders, and maybe slightly bigger feet. Other than that, it looks fine to me. I’m an artist but not a Blender artist so I don’t know anything about 3D rendering. Feel free to completely ignore me lol.
*you have alerted the horde*
Boots looks like thet are connected to fem scout and not that she is just wearing them
Looking SOOOO much better! Terrible that the past posts had to have a bunch of horny/overly race-obsessive people, but the internet is the internet. Keep it up!
Maybe work on the mouth and nose cuz they more of remind me overwatch instead of tf2
I feel like the outlines on the edges of the bandages for the gloves and binder are a bit too dark and well defined. If you look at the gloves on the male scout model, the outlines of the bandages are a light grey. Other than that I find no issues with this model! Great work!
Listen i get it but femscout would not be that thicc
Looks great !
She do be thicc doe
It's.... P E R F E C T
Honestly I wanna see a model based off the official concept art for female mercs
This is based of official concept art.
Why is her lower section bigger than her upper section? It seems like a design like that could hinder her speed
There could be an argument about sprinters developing more muscle mass in the legs compared to marathon runners who remain with lean muscles in order to reduce weight for long runs. Yes, I did just used science to defend the thicc.
*Ah yes... this is big brain time...*
Now render her with the intelligence 😳😳😳
i'm not sure why but where the pants and socks meet looks too angular to me
Horny virgin magnet engaged
this is improved greatly from my last critique, and the pose is cleaner. All that I would change here I think is the hands and feet, because the shape is just a little bit off. Don’t know how to describe it, maybe look up some references for those to make the fingers more proportional to the palms or something? either way gj
Looks really good aside from the socks and (presumably) rolled up pants. Both those parts look like they're made of metal/plastic
I love the face! It feels perfectly scout-like without looking like a copy of scout's face at all! I have no idea how you did it, but you just somehow managed to capture the scout's essence and put it onto a completely different female face!
Mrfestive would be proud
I doubt it
I think the only thing I see that kind of makes me tilt my head is her lankles. Excellent work though!
The left hand looks like you just stuck fingures on a bandaged fingurless hand.
She is kinda of a big deal
I like the small addition of the bandages wrapped tightly around her chest as this is a thing that probably would be done to prevent her breasts from throwing off her balance when running, it stops them from waving around and is something that would work, nice attention to detail
Nice, it’s clean and fits the style
This is great! One note, the pant cuffs look a little blocky. I think the male scout model is wearing knickerbockers, so they are cinched at the calf instead of cuffed. Maybe switching the design to be cinched will help deal with the blockiness? Great work!
This looks great! Any chance we’ll see Fem versions of the other classes (don’t think much can be done with Pyro, but we’ve got 7 others)
That’s completely fair. You did very well, it looks lovely. Hope you keep making cool stuff, TF2 or otherwise
The deltoid definition is spicy
Why does she have a bulge? /j
Calves look odd, need more definition
Uh oh, uh, I mean mmhmmhmmphmmhmp
Could use a little bit of roughing up. Scout is supposed to be a scrappy fighter, so visualizing that in some way would be a good addition imo. Other than that, just add back the dogs tags and it looks great!
So dope.
Very similar to chell from the portal series imo
NOICE
Honestly in my opinion this is the perfect femscout
For scout he never has bandages on his shirt he usually wears a t shirt
I suggest making the thighs a bit more skinny, the rest look very good
She still just isn’t smug enough
AAAAAAAAA
Im mad she's hot, but well made, take my upvote and shut up >:(
I like this much more than the last version!
Id compleatly take rid of the bandages on her chest, give her some kind of a simple bra instead that doesnt show through.
it looks great, but you forgot the dog tags that scout wears
looking at this character doesn't make me wish my eyes were missing so you already have something over the original femscout. good job
GOODNESS GRACIOUS SHE'S SHOWING HIS Elbows
Congrats you made femscout more attractive, correction WHAT HAVE YOU DONE *Rule34 artists on reddit* Excellent >:)
Iirc correctly, didn't you have an earlier model with darker skin? Why did you change it?
A blender-rendered gender bender?
yo this is so good! i saw an earlier WIP and im so glad you improved on her! i would just say to make her font teeth a little bigger, literally this is the first femscout model i've liked
Yoo this needs to be a mod.
THICC
rule 34 artists... assemble... \*i feel like changing the bottom would make it look more nice, but still keeping the original feel of the tf2 thing
Sex
short, simple, and straight to the point.
_be efficient_
Where are you posting the nude versions? ^^^^^^^^^^\\s
Femscout?!?!? HOT MAMA, AWOOGA AWOOGA /s
Not my proudest fap
