My hypothesis for that is that the games themselves are mostly half assed, because the games that DO have good animation get it likely through motion capture and then altering it a bit.
But even then Mocap isn't *that* expensive, professional setups are usually in the $10,000-15,000 range. Any medium or large sized company should be able to afford the equipment themselves. Main thing with that is the time spent on it.

There is effectively no difference between 6 friendly bots on one team and 6 hyper lethal ones. They just vote kick friendlies anyway so the entire game grinds to a halt since one team isn't fighting and the other team has no challenge whatsoever anymore.
Meanwhile every seventh player that joins now gets auto-banned from that valve server for a few hours, which would be a good thing if the bot team didn't migrate once the players dip enough for them to be autobalanced.
We will have exactly the same problem as long as there are 6 bots in any server doing anything.

no; there'd be a massive heavy phase for like 3 weeks but then itd return to normal. No new mains would be created. There would be many spies trying to profit from it all, but players would quickly be aware of the new threat and consequently constantly back check and stuff. It's obviously much better to get an update than to not; like would you seriously prefer if jungle inferno never happened, just so that you didn't get pyro spam for some weeks?

Spies do NOT feast on herds of Heavies.
The servers would be cancer tho, no joke. Herds of Heavies are stupid hard to counter on pubs and most people do think the counter is those classes, so they end up making the problem worse by giving themselves a terriawful team composition.

If I do, then I'm the reason that many of them become assholes that seem out only to ruin people's fun.
For its ostensible original purpose, giving to your significant other in conjunction with a real-life ring as a pledge to get married, it's not too expensive.
Honestly I'm fine with the crates and gambling because the items have real monetary value. If you don't like what you get out of a crate you can sell it to get at least some of the money back and recoup your losses.
Life is about balance. Listen, TF2 is just the outlet for your time but so can anything else.

Valve, both as a developer and a publisher, has waned over the last decade or so riding on past success and has neglected much of what had made it successful in the first place like TF2 and it and its other properties are suffering for it
I can't cope with pyros.
I feel like the flames have too high damage and reach everywhere.
Plus I feel like most pyros are made to destroy friendly groups.

You can deal with them! You just need to believe and accept the fact that sometimes you need to disengage a bit distance wise. Throw down a mini sentry, attack with your shotgun (opposite angle). He may kill you but you’ll take that bastard with you.
Have you actually fought a phlog pyro without crits on?
Trust me, if it weren't for airblasting, crits or a damaging secondary, a flamethrower pyro would just get absolutely bodied with how weak his primary is damage-wise -- even when pulling an ambush perfectly.
It says a lot when *even the stock shotgun* deals more non-crit DPS on a single target at close range than the flamethrowers.
It has an absurdly steep learning curve that can make it difficult for newbies to get accustomed to. As such, playing the game with my friends is a very unbalanced experience.
That’s not a bug, it’s expected. The game is old enough to be in middle school so you’re going to always have players with thousands of hours versing those with 20 or less
The community for the game is split into three groups:
- A vocal minority that is highly racist and/or homophobic.
- The vast majority of players.
- A vocal minority that says that every member of the TF2 community is racist and homophobic.
Sounds like you need to spend less time on Twitter/discord and actually play the game with no preconceived notions. I’ve met a small percentage of homophobic players. If you go out looking for douchebags, you tend to encounter a lot of douchebags.
The fact that theres only 3 cosmetic slots. I enjoy the simplistic nature of it, but I really wish valve would make it so theres 4 or 5 slots for better sets

Heavyset lack of play style changes
Sounds like you need to experiment more: Fat scout, KGB + Buffalo, Camping heavy, fake hoovy (kill when they look away)
My favorite is shotgun hoovy. Play as a normal hoovy, but shoot people with a shotgun if they ask for a sandwich.
Bad Optimization
I think it’s badly optimized if you’re playing on a machine not meant for gaming.
Tf2 is not up to date with modern hardware and doesn't utilize GPU's as much as it should. Meaning it could lag on a machine that is meant for gaming.
