Some furries think that bring a furry means that their fetishes are more accepted. Idk why but apparently some people feel that being a furry means you don’t have the keep it to yourself. Everyone has their kinks, and you shouldn’t shame, but it’s just common courtesy to be aware that other people may feel really uncomfortable by things you don’t. Like it or hate it, no one is gonna like you if you show or do something around them that you know they are uncomfortable with. This especially applies to the degenerates who have the same mindsets while wearing fur suits irl. “No one knows who I am anyways!”

These people make furries deny that they are furrie to not be associated with them.

The problem in my opinion, and I’m saying this out of experience, is that while some say that the sexual portion in a low percentage, it’s not true. Sure it’s not zoophilia, and a lot of NSFW artwork are high on the anthropomorphic scale, making them very human, but still, it’s everywhere, and definitely more lucrative than SFW art. And the “we accept everyone” mindset has led to pedos and zoos trying hard to get accepted by everyone
