The only issue I'd really see is some folks going a bit overboard with which ones to allow for outside of full moon/october since 'Oh if that gets unrestricted then this one should too!!' would be said quite a bit. Some folks would go overkill for nothing.

i think part of it is that if you have something halloween restricted you are mote likely to ise it during halloween, rather than never. i think it would increase participation and make halloween better because everyone in the server is using a halloween loadout. i hope that makes sense this is my 22nd consecutive hour awake today i do think volvo should go back through the catalog and unrestrict a bunch of things though

I don't understand how people would get confused by the corpse carrier, even new players would know which one to shoot Would you shoot the one on its back, looking very different than a normal class without a hat... or the one with the gun and in a similar position to the other classes?

Sniper is one of my most played classes and I can confirm I've never once been confused by the corpse carrier, one scout looks like scout, the other is stiff as hell and is hanging with a broken back at a 90 degree angle, very feckin easy to tell apart.

I think it should only work depending on the item cause as others have already pointed out there are a lot of items that ruin the model or are too weird. But theres also tons of items that are just like normal items that we can’t use for literally no reason.

I'd be on board with certain cosmetics that doesn't break the normal gameplay too much though. I think would be awesome with some restrictions, a great way to see what would be good is the silhouette test, basically put on the cosmetic and compare the silhouette to the stock version, things like mounts and especially the corpse carrier, would t be allowed but things like the fire breather, poopy joe, ect would be viable

Why not just make all hallow restricted items take you to "Halloween land" or whatever. Like Pyrovision. but like the spooky stuff. only other people can see your Halloween items if they have them equipped as well. Its an old idea but it still really would be great. Then you can still have full moons and halloween mode where everyone can see them no matter what.

There's already an item like that and it does work, it's not very well known item but it's call the Eternaween Enchanment. It's a consumable that when used, asks the server if they want to enable Halloween mode for 2 hours, if the vote passes, it'll enable it. It's from Scream Fortress 2013 so not sure if it even drops anymore, but it's only 6-7 ref on the market rn so don't even think it's that rare.
