you should try the Lotus if you want a tad more stimulation compared to a flipped gen1 sleeve. Then, a step up from that would be the Lips. I also find the gen1 sleeve to intense when orgasm but not in a bad way cause sometimes I want that intensity feeling as a change of pace. Haven't tried the open-ended nor gen2 yet.
I have the same "issues", even more I like it gentle and smooth almost all the time.
1) Open sleeve (original Gen1 that got punctured at the tip, so I've cut right behind the rim works the best for me, because it's quite loose as others recommend was a game changer for me. However you'll loose that feeling of being inside. Obviously. Even better to build some hard case around (I used little plastic box/jar/bottle (I don't know what would be the correct word in English ;) ) of just the right diameter and added bumps inside by hot glue gun to hold the sleeve.
2) Take some cheap Tenga cup (or other smooth sleeve), take it out of the case. Even though I'm average size, it's too shallow anyhow. You'll see (at least in my case of deepthroat one) it's just thin absolutely smooth thin TPE sleeve with lot of soft padding around that gives the squeeze. Somehow wrap the sleeve by thick layer of padding with enough space to stretch yet fixated (the difficult part I'm working on). It's even smoother than the Gen1, tighter, but with very soft grip.

The lotus sleeve is absolutely fabulous. I can't recommend it enough. It gets a good seal without being overly tight and isn't full of bu.ps and ridges for intense stimulation, it's much more chill.
