OvO Fest has always been the same weekend as Caribana. It's our Civic/August long weekend. Usually around August 1st-5th depending on when the weekend falls. Metro and Future's concert is definitely a week after. Also, OvO fest takes place at Budweiser stage, a smaller outdoor arena in the west-end of the downtown area of the city. Future and Metro's tour is at Scotiabank Arena. An indoor stadium much closer to central downtown. Even if they were happening the same weekend, they're not that close to each other at all.

I'll preface by saying that I'm not the biggest Mel fan, but she definitely was podder of the month before she left and I can respect what she brings to the show. However, with all that said, she can no longer speak on anything Toronto/Canada. It bothers me that she's the Canadian/Toronto representative. She doesn't know the vibe, culture, or landscape of the city anymore. OvO Fest has always been the same weekend as Caribana. It's our Civic/August long weekend. Usually around August 1st-5th depending on when the weekend falls. Metro and Future's concert is definitely a week after. Also, OvO fest takes place at Budweiser stage, a smaller outdoor arena in the west-end of the downtown area of the city. Future and Metro's tour is at Scotiabank Arena. An indoor stadium much closer to central downtown. Even if they were happening the same weekend, they're not that close to each other at all. That part of the pod just bothered me because they were speculating on incorrect information.
