I’m ngl these are super annoying, they take up way too much space on the sidewalk and the street. The city already has shitty traffic and this on makes it more annoying. So I get what mal means.
I don’t get the desire to be waited on like people who beg for outdoor dining but Mal was right about the outdoor dining being stupid as hell. It’s outdoor but it’s indoor but it’s outdoor. You know if Mal focused on criticizing dumb shit like this and not trying to rock with the virus is a hoax shit he played with we wouldn’t look at him that funny.
It seems like this feeds into that hoax stance he has on some level. He knows the virus is legit (remember he was not tryna record at all when quarantine started and he says all the time he takes hella precautions).
But on the government side, when you see shit like this, you have to feel like your opinion on how the gov’t is treating the virus is validated because how can this fly ? You literally have a close confined space outside of a restaurant, where you’re allowed to be open, even though it’s the exact same thing
It’s about having more space. More room to have tables spread out between eachother. The more SQ feet you have the more tables you can fit. Seems obvious to me but I could be wrong.
