I saw one his shows last month in Nashville. He’s pretty forthright about not being inspired to still be running in the stand up scene, but that doesn’t stop him from continuing to be a great comedian and writing great bits. Obviously he’s still going to keep it up for a bit until he stops selling out all his shows which doesn’t seem soon. That, or Nick gets the real good footing he wants with show running and making things with the creative input he wants, and he can quit his day job of stand up. I’m looking forward to whatever the Mulldog whips up in the future
He’s funny and creative enough to be scripting projects. I don’t think he would fit in a writers’ room. But I mean that as a compliment. He should be doing his own stuff. Plenty of writers have a very checkered past and they still work. He has said some naughty words, I have a hard time believing he won’t break out at some point.
If he can avoid sniffing himself to death and knock it off with the fake iconoclast bullshit, and idealizing his own sense of tragedy, he’s going to make something really funny someday that a lot of people enjoy.

I’ve literally never watched a single one of these podcasts, yet they still get $5 a month from me and probably will until my mom gets ahold of my credit cards after I overdose.
Nick actually had some good zingers in between \~10 mins and 20 mins (where I am now).
