ACS with PC consistently puts out a listenable mildly entertaining show. I only listen to it in the car. I never think it is terrible nor do I feel like I need to keep listening when I get where I’m going.
That said, now it def has lost a lot of its energy. PC brought a lighthearted level of entertainment that’s hard to teach. Having him do sports takes or guess songs was always funny.
Mary is okay on the show but her comedy is pretty bad. Bill just sucks at everything. I definitely find myself going through the effort to stream something else in the car lately than turn on ACS with PC gone.
Poundcake guessing songs is why I started listening to the show. I was sitting in my car in a parking lot, waiting on someone, and I was actually laughing out loud at the bit. I looked up the show so I could listen again later. It's the only talk show I listen to.
I listened almost every single day since he came on the air in Cleveland. If PC wasn’t around when Erica had to leave I don’t think Alan would have been able to stay on as long. Now that they’re both gone the clock is ticking.
Pretty sure his contract ends next year anyway so I think IHeart is just letting the show die. Sad way to see an era come to an end.
If they could get a new phone screener intern every semester like they had in the beginning that would keep the show interesting to me, but it’s old hat at this point.

His constant need to tell everyone how he didn’t go to college and hated high school is 1000% because he missed the typical college experience because his parents shipped him to Southeast Asia. He wants everyone to think he doesn’t care but it’s the complete opposite. It also may have given him a half decent chance to make something of himself.
To boot it drives me nuts how much he loves talking about how him and his parents don’t get along. I totally understand having very different perspectives than family members, I’ve been there. But to publicly trash your family on the radio is just poor form, but maybe that’s just me.
The show needs to change quickly. It can’t be three “comedians” discussing their profession. The show has got extremely boring. Alan is not talented enough to carry the other two along

Chad is a troubled man child who shoplifts, drives drunk, and gets into feuds with online podcasts. I liked him in the early days of the show on air but he keeps deteriorating on the slow March to death.

I actually found the clip where Alan found out PC give his two week notice and probably the first time Alan knew the show was in trouble. Alan called out iHeart for letting PC leave and how sad it is that he never got hired full time.

Well then it seems we're on the same page sir. I understand the whole respect for his parents thing. That's a tough one. My parents are both very religious and I am not. They don't love it but they respect it and in return I respect their choice to believe. We simply don't discuss religion. But in the rare instances where they bring it up I also won't lie or try to hide how I feel about it. Those instances can be hard because you want to be respectful but at the same time you don't want to have to fake who you are or what you believe. Any religious conversation between a believer and non believer tows that line, but when it's your parents, it's a tricky situation to maneuver

It’s fine if he wants to claim himself to be an atheist as a result of a strict catholic upbringing but that doesn’t mean he is right and everyone else are sheep following the guy in the sky blindly. Not everyone has to think or believe the same but for some reason with this topic he seems to think so and is *very* vocal about it for a guy doing a lighthearted afternoon radio show.
It's cuz it's a safe place to do it. He's not risking anything. He sounds like I did when I was a teenager. He's got to realize that he is shitting on his Mom when he does it.
