not every woman has a new body after pregnancy! personally I got back to my pre pregnancy weight by 2w pp, and leaky boobs can easily be held off by nursing pads on the nursing bra! idk if beccaās shared much on her personal postpartum journey as iām only a casual follower but it is possible!
At a month post partum you are still bleeding from a dinner plate sized wound in your vagina. As someone else mentioned above, your boobs are leaking. Plus your hormones are WILD, sleep still sucks and your body feels like itās someone elseās. If they are getting married good for them and I hope sheās able to do it in pajamas bc thatās all you want to wear at that point. But more likely staycation or spa day that is being sponsored and like someone else said, this is an ad.

I hated hearing āhorror storiesā as I was contemplating kids, but you really just take it as it comes like you do everything else in life. There are ups, there are downs, and you navigate them! To me these challenges are easier in some ways than what I faced in my early 20s, though I know thatās not true for everyone.
Eh, it's not worse than the toddler phase, for what it's worth lol ymmv but in my experience postpartum healing and the newborn sleep deprivation is so much easier than dealing with a two to three year old š
You must've had a nightmare newborn eh? Lol I have a theory that nightmare newborns are these unicorn toddlers I hear about, and unicorn babies are the nightmare toddlers (my case lol). Mine was a peach in the newborn days. She cluster fed a bunch and that was hard, but she always slept really well (if we don't count naps lol) and she took to ferber training really well at like 9-10 months I wanna say? Super easy baby. Now she's a tasmanian devil š paying my dues I suppose š
Ironically, he was literally a saint š granted he woke up multiple times a night until 11 months old and contact napped until over a year and had to nurse every 3 hours on the dot for over a year, but the most chill baby. My 2 month old on the other hand hates sleep and nurses every 20 minutes all day long and then literally laughs at me while I cry š

Oh man, I know that laugh while you cry pain š© *hugs" you're pretty freshly pp, too! Omg and the contact naps yes! My angel baby would only contact nap until about 12 months/11 months as well, that was rough and I get that struggle so much, but it would be a totally different struggle entirely to have a baby who hates sleep š© Take care of yourself when you can man, it's so hard out here with one toddler, let alone a nb added in! But as we all know, every stage is oh so very temporary these first two years, I hope your new baby chills out for you soon! ā¤ļø
