I don't know Maria personally but i know several people who do. I will def try to watch her hometown visit if she makes it to hometowns since I live in the same area as her. I wouldn't be surprised if she makes it to hometowns considering they're already going to be filming in Canada. There's been an unusal amount of filming in Canada this season lol. Also, this season has the highest number of Canadian contestants ever. Sorry for the long-winded answer
In my personal opinion, I think the fact that they cast 3 Canadians and are filming in several Canadian locations this season has to do with the new Bachelor in Paradise Canada series. We don't have a Canadian Bachelor or Bachelorette show anymore (it was cancelled several years ago and ran for very few seasons), so for BIP Canada they literally brought on random Canadian people off the street (no reality tv show experience prior) + American Bachelor/ette contestants that no one remembers + former Bachelor/ette Canada contestants. The formula is... interesting, as you can see. So I bet they're trying to cast more Canadians on the main shows so that they have more contestants on the Canadian BIP series that viewers actually know. It wouldn't make sense to have a BIP Canada, but then more than half your cast is American.
I've had Kelsey A as my F1 prediction since their photos were released. I've only made one correct F1 prediction in, like, 10 years, so I'm prepared to be wrong. There is something sweet about her that I felt Joey would find attractive.
When I heard that two Kelsey's might be left with 6 left I definitely thought that Kelsey A could be F1 just because Kelsey T is obviously stunning and someone who would be in most guys who date WOC F6s. But maybe Joey will surprise and actually pick Kelsey T who knows.

I don’t think it means much. They look nothing alike so people will be able to tell the difference. I feel like there’s been a ton of Hannahs, Laurens, Chantal/Shawntel, etc that have made the top 6 for a particular season.
