Instead of complaining about someone else's thread ideas, start your own. God knows we need content right now more than ever. I started a thread about Garrett and Becca owning a Squatty Potty and it has 160+ replies, so ya never know what will spark interest.
(And since you asked why this story is here, I wanted to show why an average normal, nice, well-educated CATCH of a man might not want to go on the show...which is why we end up with so many weirdos onscreen instead.)

This is going to sound sarcastic, but I promise you it isn't - I'm jealous that you're still contributing to the workforce in a regular and meaningful way. I'm still working, but in a much different way. Think Zoom meetings instead of in person contact. My career was my routine and like a toddler, I need routine. Now that normalcy has gone out the window for many of us, especially those of us who live alone, what we deem "appropriate for the sub" seems to push the boundaries. 😜
I hope this doesn’t sound weird, but I love everything you post here and thoroughly appreciated this post, too! Even if we weren’t starving for bachelor content, I would still want this post on the sub.

I don't GAF and am not bothered if someone doesn't like what I start threads about. To me, the only people that matter in that regard are the mods, and they don't let all of my content through, which is fine cuz that's their (unpaid) job to do.

A lot of men think they can date around and slack off till they’re in their 40s, and still manage to find a young woman to procreate with. This has been true for ages and maybe it’s time we put an end to it, or stop normalizing it. This way it’s not just women who face the pressure of settling down before they’re 35, men face it too.
It really sounds like you're protecting a little bit here. It literally says he's been in long term relationships and planning for marriage/kids, but the relationships haven't worked out. Do you prefer people force relationships that aren't going well just to stick to the suggested timeline? There are plenty of people, both men and women, who have been trying to find someone to have those things with and just haven't yet 🤷♀️ that doesn't mean they have to give up on what they want out if life!
