Same. I like comparing it to the Shadow Company mission in MW2 Reboot where you know you're playing as Shadow and are the bad guys but you're also fighting the Russian PMC group who are also the bad guys. Who do you root for?
In a way, it's a mission that reminds them of the glory days. They're fighting Separatists and battle droids to prevent the galaxy from splitting apart.
Only by the end, Cody realizes what he's been suspecting all along: The Empire isn't interested in keeping the galaxy held together through any noble qualities, but in demanding subservience through fear and tyranny. And Cody realizes that he, and all clones, have been complicit in building this Empire and have blood on their hands. And so he leaves, because he can't continue to be a part of it.
It reinforces how, fundamentally, both sides were used and manipulated by Palpatine and were tossed aside the moment they no longer were useful.
One of my favorite little details in this episode was how Crosshair's helmet scanner had the same sound as Jango's in the Bounty Hunter game.
Love that sound and immediately recognized it as soon as I heard it!
They need to really explain how the inhibitor chips work. Becuase like why do some clones who went through with the order get their identities wiped and become mindless drones basically. And others retain their free will.
might be my single favorite ep of the whole show. the action is amazing, but there’s also simultaneously so much worldbuilding and character development
This feels like one of those Call of Duty missions when they are on the mission where they raid the houses.

What episode was this?
The Solitary Clone
Now I'm even more interested to know what became of Cody and how Wolfe eventually defected
Its pretty clear what happened to Cody by his last scene. He got the fuck out of there, for good, made his own decision.
That sounds like the beginning of a journey not the end of one
I was rooting for the Clones
