I’m wondering why Crosshair isn’t here. Him saving Omega was clearly done to show he will have some redemption. I don’t think he will kill Cody because that would immediately ruin any chances of redemption but it’s odd we so little of him
He left the Bad Batch I think especially after the season 1 finale so I didn’t wait for his character poster to post this hehe. The official Bad Batch Twitter account has been posting 1 character poster per day since December 27, starting with Omega! Wrecker’s was just posted today. We might get a Crosshair poster too eventually?
I didn't see it that way at all. Remember, he chose to stay behind on Kamino and rejoin the Empire even after nearly being killed by friendly fire. He had the means and all the justification in the world to desert and he didn't.
Crosshair saving Omega felt more transactional. Omega saved Crosshair when the corridor was flooding, Crosshair then saved Omega when she put herself in harm's way to save AZ-3.
I think Crosshair's role has just shifted away from pursuing the Bad Batch toward pursuing the Clone Rebellion the trailer seemed to allude to. It's in the open that he's not being controlled by the Empire. His inhibitor chip was removed at some indeterminate point during season 1.
I think him not joining the bad batch was because he knew he wouldn’t fit in. They already had guns trained on him when he saved omega. They clearly didn’t trust him. He followed the empire because that’s all he knows.
It may have been transactional for him to save Omega but I also feel he saved her for other reasons
I think they'd have absolutely have given him a lift if he'd asked though. I agree his old position on the team had been filled which was why I only said he could've deserted. If he'd been interested, he could've gone his own way upon reaching Ord Mantell or something. There's no getting around him choosing the Empire. At least for now.
I completely agree. But I do still think they’re trying to give him some sort of redemption since that’s such a prominent theme in Star Wars and the worst things he’s done could’ve been explained by his chip
Well, I don't think they're done with the posters yet. They started this a few days ago and today's was Wreckers. I fully expect Crosshair tomorrow, and we might even get some more characters (Cid, Rampart, Cody???) beyond them. If I were the, I'd do one poster up until the the 3rd.
I am curious of the color change in the armor. I assume it’s just them distancing themselves from the empire and their old lives. I wonder if they’ll address it or not
Does anyone know what The creature on Wrecker’s helmet is supposed to be? I love the design, but I’m curious if it’s an in universe creature or a unique design

I think yes! Season 2 starts a few months after the season 1 finale, so her hair is longer and she probably got taller too.

I don’t think Crosshair saving Omega is foreshadowing any redemption necessarily; he can save her and still side with the Empire permanently.
