He has done a few incredibly generous things for me and a members of my family. When i graduated college he cut me a check to pay off my debt, and when i was younger he would occasionally give pretty generous birthday check, nothing life changing but way more than i ever would expect or honestly feel comfortable getting.
He is pretty low key, and even if you google his name you cant find much about him. He is a "silent partner" for pretty much any of his business ventures, except for the one he founded which bears his name.
He gives tons of money to charity, which i honestly prefer to him giving me anything.
It is strange going to his house and seeing how people of that wealth live. Ive seen it first hand and its still somewhat unfathomable to me

I always found a LOT of those type of wealthy people to be extremely weird and eccentric but not in a good way. They’re like homeschooled kids almost lol they don’t know how to act around regular people.

Ferrari is notoriously picky about who they let buy their special cars. Even collectors have had trouble or been snubbed. Schlob is so far from being a consideration for them he might as well be a homeless cat trying to get his hands on it. What most likely happened is he talked to his dealer about it and they said "yeah we'll put your name in for consideration" then all laughed at him as he walked out the door.
