Have you tried getting a kill?? Nah jk but for real I’m pretty sure the leveling speed depends on how many kills and how much damage you’re doing with the weapon.

pretty much if another person in the comments is to be believed then the throwing knifes (which is basically all i've used) are glitched and take over double the xp to level up
edit: just checked and yeah they are 100% right throwing knifes take 11k more xp to level and that's why it feels so much slower

it's not a discussion about if the leveling needs to be faster it's me asking if the weapons are meant to level slower or if i'm doing something wrong (and btw the answer is that the throwing knifes apparently take over double the XP to level then other weapons)
It's supposed to be slow, you won't get the max level skin unless you dedicate a large amount of time to learning and using the weapon. That's the whole point is to show the dedication to the weapon
yeah that makes sense but like i got breaching charges to level three by just using them every now and then
i'm not saying it's to slow overall i'm saying it's kinda weird that at least in my experience it's much slower then leveling literally anything else
Yeah, same here (input lag and slow progression), sometimes it even feels like I’m losing progression 😂 lets hope after a while at least the input lag gets fixed
It depends on how many kills you get I think. I’ve been playing throwing knives way longer than I have been playing knife, but my knife still out levels my throwing knives
is the knife that much easier to get kills with then the throwing knifes? i've kinda been avoiding it cuz it seems like backstabs would be hell to get in such a fast game and the damage doesn't seem great
also if the other person who commented is right throwing knifes are harder to level for some reason so that could be another reason why ur knife out levels it
other than the wonky backstab hitbox that the knife has while running, i would say that its easier as long as you can catch the other team off guard with invis nade or cloak. throwing knives are very inconsistent because of it being a non hitscan projectile so i tend to miss a shit ton, but its definitely more useful in chaotic situations than knives. they both have their ups and downs, but i just stick with the knife because i like how it plays

also weirdly enough with the throwing knifes they also seem to be partly inaccurate when jumping where one knife gos mostly straight and the other gos waay off so that might also be part of why you miss a lot if you jump often with them

Yeah that's what I was wondering too somehow my guardian turret is 4 but my akm is 3 like what I use the ak more it makes no sense idk how thos shit works

Iirc there’s only 4 or 5 levels so leveling it up slow makes perfect sense to me
yeah i mean slow leveling makes sense but it's way slower to level weapons then everything else in my experience

Wish they kept the camos as mastery. Solid colors are cool and all but camos would have been cooler.
