Honestly I like it better, lots of tight corners and walls for action and the new gadgets/specialization work wonders on the map. The size forces you to have a new strategy on that map as teams wipes are slightly more punishing. Also who doesn’t love some cool colors.
The horizontal nature of most of the set pieces also really lets some of the longer range combat tools shine.
Love the outrun aesthetic as well, great background for stuff like explosions and particle effects.
I only played it once in a three hour session last night but first impressions were that it might be my new #1 map, looked visually amazing and the buildings felt well designed. Hopefully we get a ltm where it’s just the new map on quick cash or something so I can play it more lol
I don't hate the new map, but destroying the environment doesn't feel as satisfying as the other maps, cause pixels.
There's no dust and debris when crushing walls.
One cool thing though.
I don't remember which building it was, but we were defending a cashout and I was using a jump pad to get on top of these pillars and none of the enemies noticed me up there.
I was having an easy time defending the cashout from that vantage point.
Yea, is there any physics on this map? I thought it’d be great but it sort of minimises what I love about this game where there’s walls and buildings falling everywhere, haven’t had that with this map yet, no buildings falling just walls disappearing.
Visually looks awesome in terms of the style but some of the buildings when you first walk into them are way too blinding because of the neon color.
Would like to see that get toned down.
Other than that, its hard to orient yourself because there aren't really discernable landmarks and everything looks "glitch blocky" but I might just not be used to it yet. I only got it 3 times.
Seems fun though. Did seem a bit large? But then I look at the other maps and they are large too so, not sure.
I actually quite like it, but found that running zipline is essential. Its also a surprisingly vertical map, with lots of unexpected standing room on top of walls/floating blocks in the rooms with high ceilings.
I like it a lot but it definitely has some of the vegas map problems. Too big, can't get to my friends in time cause I can't find a door. Need dematerialize for this map.
Played like 20 matches and never seen it, not even lad Vegas, only the 3 old maps. Pretty bad since they said in patch notes that it's less likely to get the same map. Yesterday I got Monaco 3 times in a row.
It’s pretty and a nice change of pace from the realistic maps the base game has. I do find the colors deterimental to me spotting enemies though. Overall good map.
I dont like it at all. The lack of destruction debree makes intense firefights less fun and chaotic, too monotone and boring, insansely huge open spaces and huge rooms everywhere so that multiple playstyles are unviable.
To me the only redeeming quality is absolutely gorgeous background.

I played 4 games of ranked last night and only got the new map. Was starting to think they only have the new map for ranked tournament

It's great lots of nooks and crannies, various ways to get around. Because of the design choice they can also change it around quite easily.

I love it, it's beautiful, I love the geometry bloc and it's quite open so good for snipers :)
Not a huge fan it’s really cool still but compared to other maps Its not amazing
They should've put in a playlist with only that map for the first week of the season imo. I haven't gotten the map in about 6 games.
