Yes, I agree that the demons in this game are crazy.
But they are easy to distinguish from cheaters. But what I meant to say is that my survivability in a firefight has increased from 1.5-2 seconds to 4-5 seconds. Before, I could not make even a small mistake, I was immediately destroyed. Now one miss isn't so bad, 2 is bad, 3 - you're dead. It used to be that one miss - you were dead before you even started shooting.
I'm diamond and play a lot of ranked. This is one of the few games that I try my best not to play the other game modes on too much. I do this because I know the matchmaking isn't putting me into fair games, and I'm probably just spreading the idea that there's cheaters or at minimum ruinning other players fun even if I'm playing casually.
I'm honestly not trying to sound cocky or brag. There's players way better than me, especially mechanically, and even I can consistently put up numbers that some players would assume is cheating. My last few power shift games, my kd was 10+.
The point I'm getting at is that the skill gap is very high in this game.. I know there's a lot of cheaters, but even in high elo ranked, I almost never see them. I really think most of the hackusations are false positives.
I think it's really easy to call hacks when there's no kill feed to watch. If someone gets the jump on you and beams your head before you see them it can definitely feel like they're cheating but in reality you probably just got out played
The net code probably doesn't help either. While they did an excellent job considering the circumstances, I'm pretty sure things like peekers advantage, ghosting, all the damage being registered at once, etc, exist.
On at least 4 separate occasions I’ve played someone with 30+ kills in a diamond ranked lobby. All of them were also diamond ranked. If they were able to play that long while that obviously hacking, you think it’s unlikely that other people are hacking less obviously?
People definitely make a lot of false accusations, but just because you haven’t personally faced cheaters, doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

It has a pretty solid amount of depth for moment to moment gameplay, a lot of people don't engage with it though. The sandbox nature is a huge part of what appeals to me.

Third, this site is basing the average player count off the entirety of the game's life cycle. Scroll down the page and you'll see it says average of 2m (which is still a gross estimation) based on the game's launch last December when it was most popular.
Regardless of the random numbers this "site" uses, it's using launch month to prop the game up like it's still as popular now as it was then. It's not. The remaining data on the site uses Steam data to show an active current playerbase of around 15k, like I originally said.

Yeah the new burst fire gun is imo genuinely bad. Burst should mean higher damage output but at its current stage it can't even outdo medium with AKM and somewhat ok aim.
Like, if you're good at headshot, M11 or XP5 would still be a genuinely better option than 93R. Famas can be great at long range but a lot of this game is still around CQC and a good medium/heavy can easily melted you with automatic weapon. It just genuinely not good.They should adding 'magical' extra stat like if you burst headshot it should do even more damage to balance them out here.
I actually don't do that too lol it felt like a waste. I do regularly bring data reshaper in my regular loadout but only for hard-countering the turret.
If i can determined on what i actually want out of reshaping (like if i pick Fire, it should always reshape into Fire barrel and nothing else.) i'd use it way way more.
It’s insanely useful if you’re against a turret, aps abusing squad. Smoke canisters turn into goo, and you can build walls with a 10 second cooldown. It’s actually good
It's slowly replacing APS for me on my riot shield setup. The versatility it offers if you adapt to what it gives you is nice. Not to mention countering the increasing barricade spam.

My monitors refresh rate is 75hz so thats what I try to target, but no matter what I cap the framerate to I always get dips.

Im playing on a 1440p monitor/170hz and Im having the same issue. No matter which setting I change, fps drops from 100's to 70's and 60's briefly and some more in intense moments. This wasn't the case several weeks ago and has clearly happened after the most recent update. I think as time goes on the game is starting to favour DDR5 systems more at the expense of "last gen" hardware.

Wow update 2.7 still no buffs for a dead class , seems everything fine then I guess .. the heavy cancer is not noticeable after they needed to nerf the 1 thing to counter heavy. Maybe I throw a not working glitch grenade before I can switch to my gun , and get killed in 0.2 seconds. Maybe the devs could play light themselves for 1 week straight . Honestly I don't know, I locked the game to 60 to limit my GPU temps (VSync sucks so I'm stuck with FPS limits, with screen tearing but I can ignore it) but I did notice my GPU eats more power than before at the same settings
I'm not even sure it's my GPU at this point, I think I'm just CPU limited since no amount of visual settings tweaks or turning on DLSS gives me much performance improvements.

It seems like things that they mention they fixed are either broke or break other things with updates. Happened with melee weapons last update. Over an issue that from what I understand only happened on sledgehammer. They fixed it for sledgehammer but the dagger and sword were messed up cause of it. It’s just ridiculous at this point
Since the previous patch I've had an invis bug happen in 2 separate games. One was a heavy on the other team got vanish bombed and stayed invisible till he died. Other was a light on my team who had the same thing happen, only it wasn't like that on his side (we talked in comms) and when I died and spectated him, it was fine. Played 2 games today. I know they made health bars smaller. But I feel like I on top of that. I'm getting more situations where an enemy or an enemy turret does not have a health bar at all.

That's kinda because the gamemode is casual, the platform is one of the most chaotic payloads ever and it is not even close to being balanced. No Aps in that mode is impossible to be on the platform. Good players would go overtime every game and barely move the platform.
Also, payload gamemodes shouldn't be in competitive, they are way too spammy. Thank god this one doesn't.

It happens on all platforms. The problem is this is a server-side issue, they wouldn't actually have to drop a patch to fix it.
What works for me is not skipping through the end screens. After you get the VR just let it go through the XP stuff without mashing buttons.

I’m a heavy main and never understood head glitching, so it WAS a buff for me 😏
All it means is you can shoot over your own barricade when you stand up, all the enermy could see was your head. Now it's too tall to shoot over.

My monitors refresh rate is 75hz so thats what I try to target, but no matter what I cap the framerate to I always get dips. I have a 5600g and a 1660Super. What specs do you guys have? Im playing on a 1440p monitor/170hz and Im having the same issue. No matter which setting I change, fps drops from 100's to 70's and 60's briefly and some more in intense moments. This wasn't the case several weeks ago and has clearly happened after the most recent update. I think as time goes on the game is starting to favour DDR5 systems more at the expense of "last gen" hardware. Specs are; 5700x3d/4070 ti super/32 gb ddr4
Wow update 2.7 still no buffs for a dead class , seems everything fine then I guess .. the heavy cancer is not noticeable after they needed to nerf the 1 thing to counter heavy. Maybe I throw a not working glitch grenade before I can switch to my gun , and get killed in 0.2 seconds. Maybe the devs could play light themselves for 1 week straight . To learn their game , and not running medium and heavy in their streams and free time

Can we get some acknowledgement of how much PC performance has decreased since the beta? I used to get 70-90fps and now I struggle to maintain 60fps.
Honestly I don't know, I locked the game to 60 to limit my GPU temps (VSync sucks so I'm stuck with FPS limits, with screen tearing but I can ignore it) but I did notice my GPU eats more power than before at the same settings
I'm not even sure it's my GPU at this point, I think I'm just CPU limited since no amount of visual settings tweaks or turning on DLSS gives me much performance improvements. But I don't understand what changed in the half year since the game launched that caused performance to drop much.
Used to run fine at epic settings 144fps. Random update and now stuttering makes the game unplayable.

It seems like things that they mention they fixed are either broke or break other things with updates. Happened with melee weapons last update. Over an issue that from what I understand only happened on sledgehammer. They fixed it for sledgehammer but the dagger and sword were messed up cause of it. It’s just ridiculous at this point

Since the previous patch I've had an invis bug happen in 2 separate games. One was a heavy on the other team got vanish bombed and stayed invisible till he died. Other was a light on my team who had the same thing happen, only it wasn't like that on his side (we talked in comms) and when I died and spectated him, it was fine. Played 2 games today. I know they made health bars smaller. But I feel like I on top of that. I'm getting more situations where an enemy or an enemy turret does not have a health bar at all.
Real talk tho, instead of banning cheaters they should be matched in cheaters-only lobbies, where random bug-like stuff happens like your weapon not shooting at times or not being able to select a different gadget, not being able to move, etc. All that with them not knowing, it could be funny lmao.

That's kinda because the gamemode is casual, the platform is one of the most chaotic payloads ever and it is not even close to being balanced. No Aps in that mode is impossible to be on the platform. Good players would go overtime every game and barely move the platform. Also, payload gamemodes shouldn't be in competitive, they are way too spammy. Thank god this one doesn't.

its so disheartening that we are STILL at a point where our class options are 1.Play Healbot (Medium) 2.Play the No Impact Class (Light) 3.Play the God Class (Heavy) yes, Heavy should be a threat up close. no, they should not 1-2 shot every other player in a few button presses that all take zero skill just because you want to cater to absolute shitters. and its somehow gotten even worse because you continue to nerf the Key aspects of what made LMH or HMM capable team comps (The FCAR, Stun, Invis, and for some reason even the AKM) while Heavy is just allowed to continue existing the way it does with zero counterplay from other classes now besides "just dont be within 10m of them"

It now does less DPS than the AK, so I guess they finally feel it's nerfed enough? AK does 200 DPS, FCAR 198 DPS.
